Wake to birdsong. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast beneath wide skies. Spend your day exploring the coast or simply watching the light move across the ocean. As evening settles, put your feet up and let the stars take over.
Enjoy hot showers, flushing toilets, clean facilities, Wi-Fi, potable water and an RV dump point. Our camp kitchen and designated RV guest amenities make it easy to feel at home.

Cooinda is a not-for-profit community property. Every stay helps support inclusive programs and practical support for people doing it tough. Your time away contributes to something meaningful.

Cooinda is also home to group retreats, school experiences and community programs. These operate in a separate private area of the property.

The Holiday Park was very convenient with accessible toilets, camp kitchen; well maintained and clean. The sightseeing in the area is so picturesque no matter the time of day or weather. The staff was kind enough to provide a tent campsite for us to support us during the rough windy first night. Would definitely come back during the warmer weather.

Cooinda has lush grass and well kept native plant beds making it a beautiful place to get relaxed. Well planned spaces and easily identified pitches/sites with good placement of signs. Facilities (wash/shower rooms, toilets, camp kitchen, porta loo dump point) were all very well laid out, clean and modern. We were able to enjoy a camp fire, Cooinda retreat had fire wood available to purchase and even hire of fire pits offered at a very reasonable cost. Site 2a was flat with a very slight incline, double gated enclosed/ fenced area where our large dogs were able to have some freedom to relax. Bec and Adam were fantastic hosts, very helpful and friendly. Thanks to Bec for providing us with information about where we could walk our dogs to the creek, we enjoyed a 5.5km walk which was wonderful. Beautiful ocean views right from our site. Night sky viewing was amazing, Cooinda has perfect lighting that doesn’t pollute the sky at night however is also affective for navigating on site facilities in the dark. Very peaceful, we had the best sleep. Electric and water hook ups were well placed. Very friendly welcome, instantly made to feel at home. We enjoyed our mini break very much and will most definitely return.

I love the fenced area for my dog, so he can roam free and I don’t have to worry about him. I feel he gets a holiday too and gets to enjoy the surroundings just like me. I have been numerous times now and will still be going back for more. Love the position with the gorgeous views and the minimal sites. The Cooinda Retreats is well looked after and a pleasure to visit.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Cooinda Retreat! We booked a pet enclosure site so we could relax with our 1 year old pup 🐶 who has never been camping before.
We were in a tent and could park our vehicle inside the enclosure which was really handy.
We had no idea what to expect, but we were not disappointed!
The grounds were lovely, amenities were modern and clean and the camp kitchen was very handy when the weather was sketchy.
We purposely chose a quiet time to camp, so the campgrounds were fairly empty, we loved it 😁
The hosts came and introduced themselves and were very welcoming!
We hired a fire pit and they had wood to purchase which was great 😊
There is plenty to do as it’s not far from the main area of Victor Harbor, but far enough that you feel like you are in your own little world.
There are plenty of walking trails accessible not far from the campsite as well 🌳 🦅 🏖️ ⛺️
We have already recommended Cooinda to friends and we would stay again 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Cooinda! We stayed in July and basically had the place to ourselves. Our site (2B) had amazing views of the water and the sites have nice green grass! $10 hire fee for a fire pit and $15 for firewood, was lovely to sit by the fire on the chilly evenings. Cooinda is set up to be self contained and self managed which we really liked, but if you need anything from the owners/caretakers they are very quick to respond to messages via HipCamp! Would highly recommended for a stay in Victor.

We loved camping at cooinda! The enclosed site was perfect for our two pups and meant we could pull up our caravan and let the dogs enjoy the great outdoors without bothering other people! Beautiful spot. Nice bit of view and quiet location. We'll come back for sure!

We were so happy with our stay at Cooinda. We loved having the pet enclosed site and not having the stress of our dog being on a lead and needing constant walks. The site was big, spacious and had lovely views of the sunrise. We were welcomed warmly by the hosts and our kids (and us adults) loved getting to know Bear, kicking the footy, playing hopscotch and getting to hear about his travel adventures. He told us Tassie is his favourite place he’s been so far! The campgrounds are quiet, well kept and you feel like you’re way out of town, only your 2 minutes away which is great! We have no negatives, only good things to say, we loved our stay and will probably come back with friends/a group. Thanks a million 🤗
