All three of our private, well-spaced sites include toilet facilities and offer something unique for overnight stays or day visits with a picnic. You can even walk to the sites for a day outing and enjoy the views, the creek, and fresh air, especially at The Hut, perched atop the hills.
Topspot – a peaceful hilltop hideaway among the trees with amazing views. 4WD is required for overnight stays.
The Hut – a rugged hut with three enclosed sides, perfect for sunset drinks or a picnic. Suitable for tents or camper trailers; 4WD and reasonable backing skills required.
The Laneway – beside the winter creek, ideal for small caravans, motorhomes, 2WD vehicles, or tents (please check with hosts if your vehicle is large).
Family & Animal Experiences: Pets are welcome (please keep them under control unless discussed with hosts). Families are encouraged to contact us during their stay if they’d like to meet our farm and rescue animals, and we’ll arrange a visit around feeding time. $10 from every booking goes directly toward feeding and caring for our animals, helping keep them happy and healthy.
Notes & Safety: Autumn and winter rains may make hill tracks slippery; bookings may need rescheduling for safety. Fires must be contained within the provided fire pits. Obviously vehicles lengths vary. Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed.
Family hobby farm on six green acres in the historical town of Clarendon (Toondilla), just half an hour south of Adelaide. Set in a gully with a winter creek (Willow Creek) running through (dry in warmer months). Conveniently located within walking distance to the main street of Clarendon - five minutes to the Bakery and 10 minutes to the Royal Oak Hotel and General Store!
The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Plenty of options in the area to keep the outdoor enthusiast busy, including: nearby wineries (some dog friendly), beaches (Moana and Aldinga/Silver Sands can be driven on), reservoirs (Mt Bold - hiking and views) and (Happy Valley - hiking, running, kayaking, fishing), Onkaparinga National Park and Scott Creek Conservation Park, ForestrySA land (including TreeClimb, Bone Gully MTB and parkrun on Saturdays at The Avenues - Kuitpo (Your host is the Event Director).
Bakery, General Store, Clarendon Bowling Club, Riverbend Reserve, Op-shop and Emprades (antiques shop) and Royal Oak Hotel all in the mainstreet of town. Along with historical buildings, you can relax in the local town or venture further.

Our property is approximately 4km from beautiful Goolwa township. Attractions include the Historic Steam Ranger Cockle Train which runs from Goolwa to Port Elliot and Victor Harbor each Sunday & Wednesday, and every day during school holidays.
There are also a range of cafes, restaurants, galleries, and a distillery. Spirit of the Coorong cruises leave from Goolwa Wharf, where you can also board the historic Oscar W paddle steamer.
Markets are held every Sunday at Jaralde Park adjacent to the Goolwa Wharf.

Behind your campsite there's an organic fruit orchard where the chickens forage. The property also features paddocks with roaming sheep and an alpaca. Let the host know if you would like a farm tour or to join in feeding the farm animals.
We only allow one group on our campsite at a time to ensure you have a peaceful and quiet stay.
We are a small, family owned and run hobby farm. Eggs and other farm produce for sale on request when there is surplus. Campfires allowed when restrictions aren't in place (firewood available to buy at our wood stall).

Alternatively, you may set up camp anywhere on the property. There is even one under-cover position with a concrete floor for those concerned about the weather.
There are no amenities so guests need to be 100% self-sufficient (including BYO drinking water and toilet) and leave no trace. It is a wild block and only five minutes from the iconic Emu Bay, where the white sandy beach runs for 4kms, most of which is backed by 10 to 20-meter-high dunes. It is one of the best beaches on the island with crystal-clear water.
SECOND LOCATION:
Farm Stay about 15 km from Emu Bay and 20km from the main town of Kingscote. This is an operating small sheep farm of over 100ha. For security reasons the exact location is not advertised, but will be disclosed upon arrival on Kangaroo Island.
There are several beautiful sites. This location is fairly central to most KI visitor attractions. It is a secure place to set up camp and have peace of mind that your belongings will be safe while you are away from the site. The host takes care to situate sites to give campers the feeling of exclusiveness.

Check with me before lighting a campfire - this depends on the season and risk. Dogs are permitted if well controlled (register visiting dogs with local council).

The Laneway – beside the winter creek, ideal for small caravans, motorhomes, 2WD vehicles, or tents (please check with hosts if your vehicle is large).
Family & Animal Experiences: Pets are welcome (please keep them under control unless discussed with hosts). The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Based on 45 acres Hallmark Farm is the homenif Silver medal Olympian and Equestrian Hall of famer Megan Jones. We have onsite cross country course (where you can settle in amongst the gum trees).
You are more than welcome to watch Megan training her team of text olympic stars, watch lessons, play with Noodle (our sons miniature pony). Close to fox creek mountain bike park, barristers block winery and the main street of woodside We are right in the heart of the Adelaide hills. We have a workshop if u need some help with repairs on the road, large gravel car park for bigger set ups (we hace a 26 tonne horse truck so we can accomodate you longer rigs!), also have onsite BNB if ur wanting a bed and a hot shower!
Let us know what you need and we would be only too happy to help. we spend 25 weekends of the year competing all around Australia and overseas with our horses so we certainly know what its like to have somewhere safe to come and rest your head..

Welcome to your dream destination!!
We have two different locations available in Kangaroo Island with some options of sites in each.
FIRST LOCATION:
EMU BAY HIDEAWAY-30 hectares of peace, mainly vegetated with Kangaroo Island Narrow-leaved Mallee (Eucalyptus cneorifolia, a nationally-protected ecological community). Kangaroos and wallabies are in abundance. It has a wonderful feeling of remoteness and seclusion yet is so close to iconic Emu Bay.
Those with 4WD may choose sites overlooking Shoal Bay towards Kingscote.
Alternatively, you may set up camp anywhere on the property. There is even one under-cover position with a concrete floor for those concerned about the weather.
There are no amenities so guests need to be 100% self-sufficient (including BYO drinking water and toilet) and leave no trace. It is a wild block and only five minutes from the iconic Emu Bay, where the white sandy beach runs for 4kms, most of which is backed by 10 to 20-meter-high dunes. It is one of the best beaches on the island with crystal-clear water.
SECOND LOCATION:
Farm Stay about 15 km from Emu Bay and 20km from the main town of Kingscote. This is an operating small sheep farm of over 100ha. For security reasons the exact location is not advertised, but will be disclosed upon arrival on Kangaroo Island.
There are several beautiful sites. This location is fairly central to most KI visitor attractions. It is a secure place to set up camp and have peace of mind that your belongings will be safe while you are away from the site. The host takes care to situate sites to give campers the feeling of exclusiveness.
NOTES;
Check with me before lighting a campfire - this depends on the season and risk. Dogs are permitted if well controlled (register visiting dogs with local council).

We are a small vineyard, winery and cellar door set on 45 acres of land. It's mostly pasture with 7 acres of vineyard. Guests are welcome to park during the week in the cellar door carpark or on the South side of the cellar door. On weekends we have a grassed strip, 8 metres wide, between a vineyard block and a windbreak. Which overlooks the valley behind and distant hills to the front. Being self contained is essential. Our toilets are only accessible when the cellar door is open. On weekends guests are welcome to come for dinner on Friday or for lunch on Saturday or Sunday, and then stay overnight, so they can enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving home!
Only one site can be used at a time ensuring hipcampers have the place to their own!

Perfect location to base yourself to explore the beaches and beautiful wineries/ breweries. Views from the property are stunning. We had pretty bad weather and still managed to enjoy walks around the property to see the wild life, hit up the local distillery and a drive down Myponga beach road which the owners suggested ( this has to be one of the most beautiful drives in all of SA and should not be missed!!) that surrounds this property. Stunning at sunset.
Still a work in progress for the guys here but the effort that Heath and family are putting in, Im sure this place will be fantastic!!

What a great spot. We spent 4 nights at Vineyard Views and loved it. Thoroughly enjoyed Michael's wine tasting (highly recommend)! The location is peaceful and rural surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, yet close to amenities. Plenty of space for larger vans. Both Michael and Kim were very welcoming and accommodating hosts. A+++

Sam, Chris and their menagerie of gorgeous animals, most of which have been rescued are the most beautiful beings that walked this earth!! When we arrived they were so accommodating re which site we could have as lucky 🍀 for us, they were strangely available so we picked the “horse arena” site for our Hybrid caravan. Next time we will be staying at “The Hut”. We were gifted home made biscuits and their chickens egg and they spent time with us feeding the animals and then 2 days later a while morning with our grandkids.
If you don’t book here, you have missed a piece of heaven on earth hosted by a divine couple!!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at The Hut! The place is absolutely stunning.. peaceful, beautifully set up, and the views are just breathtaking. It’s the perfect spot to relax and disconnect.
Sam was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the little welcome treat was such a thoughtful touch. You can really feel the care and effort that’s been put into creating such a special space.
We truly appreciated our stay and would highly recommend The Hut to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable camping experience. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Six Strings.
We did the wine tasting with Michael and it was probable the best we’ve done and we’ve visited many wineries. It was personal, informative and friendly.
If you’re passing through Mclaren Vale make this a stop for the night and enjoy some delicious wines.

Great location in McLaren Vale with everything you are looking to see and do 15min or less away.
It's a gorgeous property camping by the vineyard and Michael and Kim are excellent hosts!
Loved spending time talking wine and learning about the wine making process with Michael while getting to enjoy a tasting of the wines he makes at Six Strings!

This property is located at the rear of the owner's land and is essentially a large paddock bordered by trees. Access was straightforward, following clear signage from the main road to the gate. During our visit in summer, the grass was dry, and a fire ban was in place. I can imagine this would be an ideal spot for a winter getaway, with a fire.
Over the weekend, we had the entire area to ourselves and found a beautifully shaded spot to relax. We explored the property, including walking around the dam, and enjoyed encounters with a friendly horse and sheep. Our cat especially loved roaming the grounds and embraced his wild side.
The temperature was about 10 degrees cooler than Adelaide—if Adelaide was 35°C, it was about 27°C here. In the evening the weather became even cooler, needing warm clothing.
Shannon, our host, stopped by to greet us and was both friendly and welcoming. The property is very quiet, with the sound of the sea in the background. There are picturesque views of the surrounding hills and old grapevines.
I would recommend this location to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat away from caravan parks. The site is suitable only for self-contained visitors.

Beautiful views over the Ocean, and at night the sound of the Ocean is very relaxing.
A few good walking trails around.
Good facilities.
Uneven ground, and a number of slopes, so could be challenging if you have mobility issues.

Camping at Steve's property was relaxing and quiet. The grounds are spotless. We've seen kangaroos hopping around the area and koala's and possum's live in the area as well though we haven't them during our stay and that's a good excuse to go there another time. The camp spots (2) have shade and sun during the day so perfect for our two dogs who like to stay out of the sun. We fitted easy with our 16.5 ft caravan. We loved the fact that there are only 2 camp spots in the paddock because our dogs are reactive. We would love to spend some more camp bliss here in the future. We've met Steve who came to greet us during our stay. He's a friendly guy who loves a chat and was absolutely kind to our small dogs. There's a nice park along the Onkaparinga River which is a short walk across the road. The township of Clarendon is on walking distance and there's a great Opshop around the corner!
