Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times please. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater to large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Wood can be delivered to your site for a small fee, or your welcome to bring your own. Strictly no chainsaws on our properties please. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. We also operate another Hipcamp situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. If it may be of interest, please search Bright Burra Creek.

Lovers Lane

Beautiful location, we will be back

Let's start off to say Trish & Peter were absolute legends! Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our camping spot. We requested firewood for a small fee - this was all prepared before our arrival. Trish showed us out a few points of interest; walkabouts and views and then left us to enjoy our stay! The landscape was dry because of low rainfall but you get to soon appreciate it after sometime. This definitely has teased us to come back once everything is lush and green. The sunset view bar was absolutely stunning and the other campers all meet up some nights to enjoy a drink or two whilst watching to sun go down! We can't wait to visit again soon. Thanks 🙂

Hills View Paddock

Would highly recommend Edgehill farm stay! The views were stunning and it was very peaceful! Trish met us at the entrance and took us to our camp site. She was very welcoming and friendly! There has been a bar built at the top of the hill to watch the sunset which is a must! Thanks so much for letting us stay at your beautiful farm stay! Sarah & Chris

Beautiful Sunsets, Perfect Getaway!

What an amazing getaway! Thank you Trish for your hospitality, check ins, and for guiding us back to the towers lol! The best long drops we have ever seen and we have been around. Perfect views and walks. Our kelpie also had just the best time. We will be back!

Campers Cave

It was just my wife & I and our pet dog, was such a nice spot, Nice and quite, heaps of campers around the place but it’s still private which is nice. They provide great firewood ( at an extra cost ) but it’s totally worth it, the time it would take to cut the wood collet it all up slip it and deliver that’s what you pay for it all takes time to do. We will be back for sure. Hot tip - stop into the hotel central riverton for a feed for lunch and a pint great food and stuff are nice we sat in the beer garden with our dog was a great way to start the trip. Thanks to Trish and Peter credit to you guys for the hospitality can’t wait to stay again!
