Kickback and relax far enough out of town that no one will bother you and also still be closer enough to duck to the shops for milk. We'd love people to come an enjoy our little farm 6km out the back of Middleton, SA. There are no facilities, power or access to water available but for anyone self contained you'll love it. We can offer you farm fresh EGGS pretty cheap though for breakfast. Check in from time from 1.00pm, but touch base if your'e early, we'll stretch for for you. Super close to some of the best beaches in the state. Middleton for surfing 🏄 Goolwa for fishing 🎣 Port Elliot for swimming 🏊‍♀️ Rates include you getting to hang out with the horse (Nick) who love a stray carrot or 10 and our beautiful sheep including Kevin (the white sheep of the family, you'll get the joke when you meet him) We do allow dogs on leads as long as they are ok with animals. Campfires permitting (depending on local fire restrictions). Easy to find, really large area with trees for cover & views for miles. Lovely meeting the very friendly Nick the horse & Kevin the sheep, they loved the carrots we packed for them. Only one other group while we were there, so it was lovely & quiet.

This is a beautiful site Totally secluded, quiet and peaceful. A fantastic location that is ideal for Goowla, Middleton , Victor Harbor and Encounter Bay Shannon is a wealth of knowledge and very hospitality. Well worth a visit

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we are so glad we chose Shannon’s property for our first HC experience. Shannon was very hospitable, relaxed and welcoming. His sidekick Salty was such a lovely Dog who would fetch a thrown stick all day! Would definitely recommend this Hipcamp without hesitation!

Hi Guys, great location, easy access, love the paddock layout great open space. If you need shade there’s trees to park by. If you have kids there’s a horse which loves carrots, also 2 sheep and ducks.

Loved camping here . There is a lot of space to choose where you’d like to set up your campsite . It was great view to wake up to also the farm animals were entertaining for my grandson and myself . Very friendly . Easy instructions to understand .

Old Middleton winery is a great spot to set up for as little or long as you want. Not far from everything you need. This place is the best of both worlds, only minutes away from beaches, main shopping strip and wineries. Shannon is a standout host, super friendly and helpful. I had some car issues that he didn’t hesitate to help with and get me back on the road.

We had an amazing weekend camping at this hidden gem. The owners are super friendly, and provided super clear instructions and directions when arriving to the property. The paddock is in great condition and is really well maintained. We were lucky to be the only group there, however if there were more people you wouldn’t know it, you’ve got lots of space and you’re not piled on each other. Can’t wait to come back!!

Epic spot! I zoomed in and out pretty quickly as I arrived late and had to leave early, but Shannon was super accommodating and gave me a call whilst I was en route to make sure I found the place a-ok. He was really friendly and offered me a spot right by the vines and close to the house, since I was solo travelling with my doggo and arriving late. I bet his fam would've been equally as kind and welcoming had I had the chance to meet them. Would defo recommend! 😍

Farm was great. Hot weekend but nice and cool where we set up. Perfect temp throughout the night. Place was easy to fine, conveniently close but still felt remote. 10/10 would recommend

It was an incredible stay and the hosts are lovely! When my motorcycle started playing up Shannon gave me a massive hand fixing up the bike and was an all round legend. Would recommend anyone to stay here :)

Great base to explore, Goolwa, Middleton, Port Elliot (must do the bakery 🤤) and Victor Harbour. It is a simple plain paddock, but if self contained it’s all you need. The peace and quiet was bliss!
