The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore.
The site is flat and mowed with easy access from the road for caravans.
The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels.
Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)
**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. **
Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.
Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.
During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower, and drinking water supply.
A basic long drop outhouse is set up for guest use.

The campsite couldn’t have been better. The water had a perfect mix of shallow and deeper spots, making it ideal for swimming and canoeing. Waking up to a surprise visit from the cows in the morning made it even more special — the kids had an unforgettable time!

Sarabah Creek Camping is honestly one of the most amazing spots we’ve stayed at. It’s so close to the Gold Coast, yet it feels completely peaceful and secluded.
The campground is beautiful, it was incredible to fall asleep to the sound of the water and the creek was so fresh to swim in. The site feels very private, the bathroom was clean and it was easy to access the campsite!!
You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the grounds and making sure guests have a great stay.
Sarabah Creek Camping is an absolute gem. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a beautiful spot to camp. Wide open field with lovely green grass overlooking the creek. The site was private, quiet and spacious with a ready to go fire pit and the toilet was very clean and a very handy and welcomed addition. The creek had a lovely deep swimming hole to cool down in as well as rocky shallows and mini rapids for the kids to play in. The star attraction though, was waking up to the cows roaming through the campsite. Such a fun experience for the kids. We are already booking to come back!

This camping spot is amazing!
The camp site is close to the road, but not visible from the road and has minimal noise from traffic. The track down is steepish, we have 17ft & 18.5ft full size off road caravans, towed with a 4WD in 4low we had no problem getting in or out. There is a very large level area perfect for caravans. This private one site gem is right next to the river, it offers all our favourite activities, swimming, fishing & kayaking, there are some shallow spots but was still great fun, our grandson loved the rapids. There is plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes.
We loved the large established fire pit.
The host Luke touched base before our visit and gave me a run down on everything we needed to know, which was great. The property is well maintained, hats off to you Luke.
Those who are with Optus may want to invest in a Starlink as there is no service.
We would rate this Site No1, it is definitely on our list of places to revisit, loved it!

We had an amazing time staying at Site 3. Easy to get to with good directions. Remote enough to feel like you are away from it all, but close enough to town if you need anything. Loved swimming in the creek and waking up one morning with the cows right across the creek. Sites are all very well spaced apart. Will definitely come back.

Sarabah did not disappoint! An amazing spot with our own private creek. Flowing stream and nice deep waterholes for swimming. Open space for the arvo cricket game and friendly cows visits were always welcome. Patrick was lovely to deal with. Thank you. We’ll definitely be back.

We absolutely loved camping at Sarabah Creek! There was a huge stretch of land between us and the next site, so we had complete privacy. It felt very secluded, but we were still just a short drive to local Vineyards and the town of Canungra. The creek was a highlight - perfect for swimming with an open, deep spot right in front of the site, and the creek was always trickling away peacefully. Cows popped over each morning for a visit.

We loved camping here, the site was well maintained right beside the creek. Access was easy to the creek and perfect depth for lounging in the shallows with multiple deep swimming holes. Had the site to ourselves, so our dogs loved running free, the only visitors were the friendly cows.
Would definitely recommend this site, we are already arranging a return trip. Perfect for this hot weather!

What a fantastic site this is!! Tom and Patrick’s instructions are very clear and precise. The campsites are massive!! They are very quiet and the area is beautiful. There is a small road that runs alongside the campsite but it was definitely not busy! There is a dead end only a few hundred metres up the road so I think for the three days we stayed there maybe two cars past! LOL. Water was nice and clean! Toilet facilities are great! Sites are nice and clean and mowed. Will definitely stay again.
