Oz Sky Ranch is set on 350+ acres in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland, just outside of Brisbane at the bottom of Mount Tambourine near Canungra. We cater to adventurous souls, with a range of adventure tourism activities in and around our property. Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. The camp/caravan site is isolated out in the rear paddock. The most pristine area on the property. As soon as you arrive you will begin to relax. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations set up with rocks. Sunrises through the trees over the wetland/bushes. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Cedar creek runs through the middle of the property for a nice refreshing swim in the swimming hole by the bridge or explore the meandering creek. There is a 4wd access road through to the mapleton national park for you to enjoy the hiking trails and nature. We want your camping experience at Cedar Banks to be delightful while respecting our local community, wildlife, and surroundings. To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival. Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited. For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property. As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. Singles, couples, and small families are welcome. No pets. Best of all, you’ll be on a private property with only one other camping site. Enjoy your holiday with the privilege of staying on the Sunshine Coast without the crowds, with most of the wonderful tourist attractions within a 30-minute drive.

We welcome self-sufficient campers who seek to disconnect, rewild and enjoy an intimate camping experience. To ensure a private and relaxed environment, we limit the campground to two large sites within this paddock, providing ample space for caravans, campers, and tents. Each site covers approximately 900 square meters, allowing plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings. Nestled in a valley of rolling green hills beneath Mapleton National Park you'll find our beautiful property. Easy access from a well maintained dirt road. Cedar creek runs through the middle of the property for a nice refreshing swim in the swimming hole by the bridge or explore the meandering creek. There is a 4wd access road through to the mapleton national park for you to enjoy the hiking trails and nature. We want your camping experience at Cedar Banks to be delightful while respecting our local community, wildlife, and surroundings. To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival. Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited. For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property. As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds. At Cedar Banks, we promote a friendly and respectful environment. Let's all contribute to a memorable and enjoyable camping experience by adhering to these simple guidelines. PLEASE NOTE: Cedar Banks is currently seeking development approval from the Sunshine Coast Council to operate a function facility (i.e. venue) and hipcamp. We are therefore presently unable to conduct any tours or accept any camp bookings. An update will be posted when Council has made a decision on our Development Application.

Best campsite in the area! Extremely well maintained and set out. Extra things for people to do like kids playground area and water play activities on dam. Stunning dam that’s ok to swim in. Birds and little lizards everywhere. I had 5A spot. Loved it. Was not at waterfront but behind that where the bushes were so lots of birds. No-one drives past this spot (it’s at the far end). There was a lot of rain one night. The ground held up well with drainage. Owners stayed away and just checked via security cameras (in and out of property) and a drive by in their 4 wheeler buggy. They don’t hassle the campers at all. Was a lovely private un-interrupted stay. Garbage bins on site and hose to use as well. Really loved this place. Was not bitten by any insects.

We loved camping in our caravan at Oz Sky Ranch. We had a perfect flat spot on 3A right next to the lake. The view was beautiful. There was a clean portaloo right near our site and a shower/toilet block just like home only a short walk away. It was great to be able to swim in the lake and cool down. We really enjoyed our stay!

If your passing by Bribie or Brissy you have to stop at this place, if you have kids or not this place if awesome, slides, kayaks, playgrounds and more, not to mention how well maintained it is. Love it and will be back again. Only downside is no toilet but figure that out for yourself. It doesn’t stop having a great time.
