Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim.
The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property.
Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage.

Pet friendly off-grid camping.
All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes.
No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, our neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. Enjoy our large camp sites with family and friends.
Noise travels easily in the evening please reduce noise by 9pm.
Larger groups welcome on some sites please message hosts.

Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home in the Scenic Rim. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek to take in the views, were you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and the sun set over the mountains to the west.
This fully contained cabin is approximately 30 square metres and features a small veranda out the front facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. Sit back and relax on the bench seat or table and chairs.

There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge room has a couch, 40 cm TV with DVD player, small table and chairs. There’s no free to air TV channels available. BYO DVD or there’s a small selection available. No Wi- Fi
There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road.
Phone reception is available at the cabin if you’re with Telstra. The property is 2WD accessible, but I recommend 4WD in wet weather

I stayed on Site 5 and it was perfect!
The only other sites close by are 3 & 4 and they were empty. Site 1 and 2 are in another paddock so it felt like I had the whole place to myself. Amazing! The site is huge and has a fence around it so the cattle don’t come onto the site.
The creek was beautiful and my dog spent everyday swimming and I set up my marquee in the swallows. It was heaven
The site is fairly level and there is room under the trees if you prefer to set up in shade or you can set up closer to the fire pit for full sun if you need solar power. Kerry was very responsive to messages and very helpful. I did struggle to find site 5 when I first arrived as I didn’t realise it was in another paddock and I failed to see the opening in the fence where you drive through. Once you see it it’s very obvious.
I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be camping here again. Thank you

Third time back to site 1 and still our absolute favourite place to camp. Nothing beats the running, crystal-clear creek that has very deep swimming holes right on your camp doorstep. Friendly cows, lovely grassy areas and so close to home. We just love it!

I always enjoy my stay at the show grounds. Staff are friendly and happy to help. The pub is a 10 minute walk and often holds events, good meals, dog friendly. I particularly like being ‘out in the country’ with the cattle in the next paddock, the creek, birds singing etc, and yet just an hours drive from Tweed Heads

Easy check in, pick your own site. Powered sites with access to water. Grounds were beautifully kept. Clean amenities. Easy stroll to tyalgum main st and pub. Pub food was really good and bonus that there was a pool & shady beer garden. General store in main st had great coffees. Skate park and cricket pitch next to grounds. Highly recommend.

Our family had a wonderful three-night stay at Tyalgum Showgrounds. We absolutely loved waking up to cows roaming in the nearby paddocks – such a peaceful, country experience that the kids especially enjoyed. The grounds were beautifully maintained, with lush green grass throughout, making it a pleasure to relax and let the children play.
The atmosphere was very family friendly, with a welcoming and laid-back vibe that made us feel at home straight away. Another big highlight was the convenient walking distance to the Tyalgum General Store, which has an abundance of organic products, as well as the Tyalgum Hotel, where we enjoyed the swimming pool.
Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay, and we would happily return and recommend Tyalgum Showgrounds to other families looking for a peaceful getaway.

Tyalgum Showgrounds was a beautiful spot to park up for a few days, stunning scenery with good amenities. We went swimming in some near by creeks and even got to see a platypus in the causeway just down from the campsites.

Nice place to relax, swin at the creek..site 2 is well shaded e flat, but if you want more privacy site 1 is your choice as site 2 is visible from another site 50m in the other side of the creek. Very friendly cows, bring your shovel. I would be back!!
