The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property.
Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage.

This was the perfect camping spot for us. Totally private at the top of the hill, but close enough for us to walk to Cabarita shops and hotel, Woollies and bars, plus the Beach. Perfect spot!
So peaceful and quiet, especially as we were the only ones on the site.
Great ocean breezes amongst the trees.
Picnic table, chairs, swing and level pad for our caravan was great.
Plenty of bushwalking tracks too.
Will definitely be back!

We had a beautiful weekend at Selah! We had a large group of us but the mountain view site was super spacious and allowed us to spread out. We had the most amazing view of Mt Warning in the mornings with the clouds, it was perfect! The team really went all out to make our stay enjoyable, from feeding the cows to farm fresh eggs and swims in the creek, we’ll definitely be back!

This might just be one of the most beautiful Hipcamps we’ve ever stayed at. The creeks were stunning and perfect for a swim, and the sites tucked along the water with natural shade made it such a peaceful, relaxing spot. Lush green grass, loads of space, and not overcrowded at all. The toilets were spotless too. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back! 🌿✨

Our group had a fantastic weekend camping at River Rats. The campsite was perfectly positioned on the banks of the creek allowing us to swim and float down the river during the very hot days. The campsite was very well maintained with lots of short grass and plenty of trees for our group to spread out and pitch our tents without being on top of each other.
Also plenty of wildlife to see including birds, turtles, eels and snakes (we saw 8 in two days). Just be very careful if you have small kids or pets.
We spent most of our weekend swimming during the days and sitting around the big campfire at night. Overall a great weekend for a long overdue catch up with friends.

Secluded bush camp but so close to the beach. The Bowls Club is even closer 😉.
Abundant Birdlife including Spangled Drongos, Forest Kingfishers and Little Wattle birds. There is road noise during the day, as it's on the hill, but quiet overnight traffic-wise. Campfire pit provided with bench seating but not used this time due to nice temperature. Picnic table and swing are great creature comforts.

Wonderful peaceful location by the water. I enjoyed many swims during the heat wave. Quite deep, may not be suitable for children. A wonderful variety of bird life. Libby is an excellent, very responsive host, who provided me with a much needed map of the area and other information, and also reached out when a storm was about to hit.

This is a pretty quiet, well maintained gem on the farm, super peaceful with heaps of space. The lagoon is loaded with carp, and the whole site felt tidy and cared for. Host was fantastic, friendly, great directions, and super easy to find. Loved the relaxed vibe and will definitely be back again!

Beautiful location that was easy to find and the facilities were amazing. We had a powered site for a caravan and it had everything easily accessible. We brought dogs and tucked ourselves in a corner and had just an amazing time. Value for money and the view is to die for. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, very well maintained, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. We stayed with 4 adults, one baby, and our dog, and everything was perfect for our group.
We absolutely loved the views and the overall vibe such a special place to relax and enjoy nature. Due to the hot weather, we asked to change from the mountain spot to the river, and they were more than happy to help and make it happen, which we really appreciated.
We truly had the time of our lives and will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommend!

Massive campsites, so you're not on top of one another, yes they are pricey and not for everyone, but worth it if you want the space, peace and quiet, the ground's are immaculate, and what's not to love camping beside a creek.

We had an amazing stay at Cabarita Beach Station! The site was beautifully maintained, quiet, and perfectly secluded. The fire pit was a highlight. The bush swing was a bonus, and the kids loved it. The location is unbeatable - a short walk to the beach and shops, but still feels remote and peaceful. Scott, the host, was super responsive and made our stay even better. We'll definitely be back!

A great little campground near the creek. I felt a little disoriented by the signage as there didn’t seem to be any signs saying “Tyalgum Showgrounds” but I trusted google and I arrived safely and at the time I expected. The office staffer was super friendly despite being pulled pillar to post. Check-in was simple since I paid via Hipcamp. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot! The dump point saved me some extra kms on the way home, too! The grassy camp site was perfect for having my doggos with me (extra glad the mowing was done a week prior so most of the cuttings had blown away).
