You can walk to the beach in around 10-15 minutes. Shops are a little further and include post office, tourist information, restaurants and cafes, clothing, massage, Lennie's fruit shop and a small supermarket. You can purchase take away alcohol from The Tavern in the main shopping area.

Also available is a large cold water washing machine (gold coin donation).
We are located on Tully Mission Beach Road with the bike path between Wongaling Beach and Mission Beach running right past the front gates, so a quick ride into town and plenty of space to bring your boat!
We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help.
Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

We have had recent sightings of cassowary on our property so keep an eye out, you might just see one!We prefer self-contained campers, who have their own amenities, but we do have a toilet and shower up at the main house (about 50 metres away) you are welcome to use if needed. This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

Guests must also bring their own drinking and washing up water and must take all waste with them upon departure. Fire is allowed only within existing firepits. We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help.
Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

Set up camp and use the property as your base to explore the Cassowary Coast, Atherton Tablelands and the Great Barrier Reef.
Toilet and shower facilities are available (please supply your own toilet paper). The property has limited tank water only. Guests must also bring their own drinking and washing up water and must take all waste with them upon departure. Fire is allowed only within existing firepits. Beautiful walks around their property, offering many swimming holes. The Pugh Creek runs through the property, with easy access to the creek.
There is a great camp hut next to the main swimming hole...lights, fans, kayaks, noodles, basic kitchen....bloody fantastic place.
Paradise is a definite go to. We are Cairns locals & can't believe it too us so long to find "Paridise Camp". Going back for sure.

The undercover communal lounge/ dining is great for wet weather. The description of the sites can make it sound like you'll be sharing with others, but I felt totally remote (in a good way!). The creek is right by the sites and wonderful to hang out in. I didn't hear road noise at all.

What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful manicured gardens and Nisha was very accomodating!! It was very wet weather when we stayed and Nisha made sure we had a good spot close to the bathrooms and power connection!
