Hart Hill boasts a stunning 28 acres. Your initial view of the property coming over a Thanes Creek causeway is that of a magnificent rock face. However, 600m down the road, through the gate, and over the ridge, Hart Hill exposes a lovely undulating fold baring a huge panorama of flat alluvial ground that hugs Thanes Creek.
Sprinkled with gums, the camping area is based west of the property in a stunning shady lea cooled by the creek and an old windmill for a backdrop.
The properties history is colourful. In 1869 the area was a hub for gold diggers wanting to strike it lucky. Old wooden stumps tell a story of an old mining hut, and if you dug in some of the rock heaps you might get a shock when you uncovered more than gold.

I had booked the windbreak site which had been taken when I got there but still found a lovely spot. Nice quiet campsite with good amenities. Lovely hosts 😊 could hear a koala bellowing across the creek at night and saw a Pacific Baza in the morning. Had a great time with my dog.

The camp grounds are very well maintained. Showers were kept very clean.
Jane and Luke were very welcoming and helpful and could not do enough to assist their guests.
There was a nice amount of space between individual sites allowing for more privacy.
There is easy access to the water for fishing or swimming
We will definitely return.

Camped at wind break, the owners were very accompanied thank to you Jane. Toilets were clean daily. Caught a big yellow perch in the creek. Swim able creek need to track down a steep hill but had it to ourselves which was nice. The camps are alittle close but neighbours where nice. Will recommend 👍

Our first stay at Hart Hill and we were very impressed with this beautiful bush camp 😀
We were welcomed by Jane on arrival then down the little hill to an open bush camp with sites spaced out all with fire pits, most are along the side of the creek.We stayed at windbreak and only a short walk to the amenities shower/toilet that were kept very clean.
The magic happens at night when clear you will get a million star veiw. A perfect place to site by the fire and take in nature at its best.
Jane was one of the best hosts we have ever had staying at hipcsmps and she takes so much pride in making her property a wonderful experience for you.
This will be a regular for us 😀 can't wait to come back.

Coolmunda Olive Grove was beautiful. Katie is welcoming and goes the extra mile for her guests. Toilet and shower facilities are immaculate. We had a platter, which was a nice treat and very reasonable for the size of the platter. We highly recommend.

What a wonderful few days away, a very peaceful, beautiful location. The campsite was a nice flat open grassed area for setting up our camper. Jane was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Her two dogs were also very welcoming greeting us on arrival. Facilities were very clean. Firewood & ice available onsite if needed. Plenty to do, Thaines Creek runs around the camp area for gold panning, swimming, fishing etc. With more fossicking areas just a short drive. Definitely one of the best campsites we have stayed at. Thankyou Jane 😊

Had an amazing weekend at Hart Hill. Jane made us feel so welcomed and Scott was very helpful for us beginning out on our prospecting journey. The facilities were amazing, best I've seen in a long time. Great firepits and great view of the milkyway. We were blessed with great weather too. Highly recommended. We will be back again soon.
