We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. If you are looking to get away, put your feet up, switch off and recharge, then this is your perfect spot to enjoy the serenity of farm life with the added mountain views. We have potable bore water, electricity connection, picnic table and bench and firepit. We have two powered caravan sites that can also double up as tent sites. Ideally you should be self sufficient. Our bore has a solar pump that is rigged up to the water tank at the camp kitchen. Please turn the tap off once you have finished filling up your containers or caravan tanks. Bore water is potable, so can be used for cooking, cleaning, pets, etc. Any cooking implements and tools that you might need during your stay can be provided at request. Dogs are welcome, just please be mindful of our free ranging chickens, which are generally located at the top of the farm, near the big new shed. We have a calf and mini goats that you are welcome to help us feed. We are also looking at providing yoga, tai chi and meditation classes in the near future and are also setting up more sites at the back of the property as well as providing access to the creek in the summer. Please ensure that you are mindful of our neighbours, no loud noises between 9pm and 7am and kindly clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you, as we don't have garbage collection at the property. Nanango has a lovely vibe. It's Queensland's oldest and friendliest town. There are great playgrounds, swimming pool and cart racing in town, which is only about 10 minutes away from the farm. Kingaroy is about half an hour away. There is a great off roading spot in the forest that is literally up the road from us. According to previous campers it's perfect for beginners. Mountview is a very special place having been in the family for over 120 years. The working farm is 650 acres of grain cropping and also runs a productive Charolais beef cattle stud. A central stopover point an easy 15 minutes from Toowoomba city and only a few kilometers off the New England Highway. Great for couples and larger family groups. For those that may not be experienced campers onsite accommodation is also available in the fully renovated homestead for up to 8 guests. Explore the local area with so many attractions and places to discover including the Darling Downs Zoo, The Historical Bull and Barley Inn, Lavender fields, quaint little country towns, sunflower fields, hiking tracks and so much more. Enjoy wide open spaces with magnificent views. Watch stunning sunsets, toast marshmallows around the fire pit, watch the night sky for a dazzling display of stars, hike or say hello to the many Charolais cattle on the property. You will also have access to the facilities at the Ironbark Barn which include a pool table, television, kitchen and bar area, and hot shower and toilets. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, BBQ, dish-washing station and rubbish/recycling facilities. IMPORTANT; DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD ONTO THE PROPERTY IF YOU ARE IN A FIRE ANT ZONE. Emu Creek is looking sensational with recent rains Come and enjoy these camp sites, situated on the banks of Emu Creek which has just had a nice fresh flow. Enjoy the swimming holes whilst they last! There is partial shade and relatively level area to camp. Great bird watching, spot a platypus if you are lucky. Camp fires allowed pending the current drought conditions. Lots to do nearby- horse riding at Cowboy Up, drive up to the Bunyas with a couple of national parks close by. Crows Nest is fast becoming a town not to be missed with the renovation of the Nolan Store, Crows Nest Cordials factory, visit the Valley of Diamonds. There are no facilities here, campers will need to BYO camp toilet and leave no trace. Pets permitted, but please be respectful with pets as we have cattle and horses on the property and neighbours property.

Directions and communication were clear. Price was good. Surrounds were beautiful. Fire pits for each site and options on where to camp within each site were good too. It was peaceful. Pretty. Inviting. I would stay here again for sure! The goat curry was so yumm and good help when I made enquiries about my food intolerances. I got to camp in a thunderstorm and the place was even more beautiful the morning after. There was one goat who was very friendly and I enjoyed watching the shaggy cows stand in the creek and the kids chase each other up the banks. This was a very good experience

I absolutely loved the Valley Views campsite and it was such a peaceful location. Had the cows and new calves visit me one morning which was extra special. Laura and Neil were very friendly and took me up to the campsite. Unfortunately there were a lot of thunderstorms around each night so left a day earlier than anticipated but intend on coming back when the weather has settled.

We stayed at site 14 and it was perfect, tucked away at the back of the property where it was quiet and secluded. The two lovely dogs came and kept us company for the stay and loved the attention we gave them. Lots and lots of pats were given, we loved having the dogs company. Would highly recommend staying here.
