Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans. The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens. We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study. While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets must be kept safe with you at night. Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. We stayed at the Mountain View site at Yabba Creek Farm and had the most amazing time. The site is spacious, has a purpose built shelter, and is beautifully green, with stunning views all around. The shelter that’s been built is fantastic — open and airy, allowing the breeze through while still providing great cover. Having a hooked-up shower was an added bonus, and being so close to the river made the experience even more special. Kaylea and Dean are wonderful hosts. They have created a peaceful, well thought out, and truly wonderful place to relax and reconnect with nature. We can’t wait to come back — highly, highly recommend!

We were on Grey Gums site. Lovely campsite - plan to stay again! Huge space allocated - could fit multiple families. Each site has a fire pit. Creek was clean and lovely to swim in morning and afternoon. Loved seeing the horses galloping in the paddock just 30m away. Kids loved the animal petting - chickens, Guinea pig, blue tongue lizard, turkey, pony ride! Felt very private and relaxing with so much space around us.

Beautiful, large well kept sites with lawn. The Silky Oak site was shady during the day and conveniently close to both toilets and the rustic outdoor shower. We appreciate the 'maximum people per site' rule because it cant get too busy. Also loved the 'no loud music' rule! Hosts met us on arrival and were helpful and friendly, providing information regarding the camp grounds and the surrounding area etc. The access to the water from our site was a very short, easy walk. The water was amazing in that it was clean and gradually got deeper - suitable for both children and adults. We will definitely be back!

Great spot with good sized camping spots along a rocky creek. Our site had a picnic table and swing (which none of the other sites had) a big fire pit and direct access to the creek. All sites have good tree coverage and open sunny places. My dogs loved the space and creek. There were piles of cut firewood to use (but I wouldn’t rely on it, I think it was just the owner leaving branches and trees that came down in the storm for people to use). There is a drop toilet as well which is very rustic. Great little spot close to Yandina.

Great camp spot, right on the river, peaceful and quite, who could ask for more. Libby is an excellent hostess. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay is one that you want to remember. However in saying that, please do the right thing and have some respect leaving the area how you found it. Take your shit and rubbish with you and dispose of it in the correct place.

Beautiful and spacious site with plenty of shade for the six of us, free use kayaks were a great touch and allowed us to make the most of our warm days in the creek. Brian and his wife were so kind and accomodating, giving us a great orientation to the site. Would recommend to anyone interested!

There are three sites on the lower river flat, all separated giving privacy. Kayaks are kept in a designated site for all to use.

Our recent visit to Sublime Camping was an overall delightful experience. Nestled just off Tin Can Bay Road, the campground offers an escape from the hustle and bustle, as the traffic noise is blissfully absent. The unique aspect of this location is the ability to pick your own spot at the old lime farm, providing a sense of freedom. While the camp facilities are minimalistic, it is important to note that all campers are required to be self-contained. This aspect adds to the charm and tranquility of the place, ensuring a peaceful environment for everyone. Our group had the pleasure of enjoying some great meals at the Sublime Brewery, accompanied by a few of their signature brews. The combination of great food, drinks, and good company made for a memorable weekend. However, it is worth mentioning that our tranquil morning was interrupted by the sound of mowing before 7 am on a Sunday morning. While this was a minor inconvenience, it did detract from our overall positive experience at this quiet little spot. In conclusion, Sublime Camping is a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful and self-contained camping experience. Just be prepared for an early morning wake-up call if the groundskeeper decides to mow the lawn.

The views were absolutely incredible! Despite the campground being fully booked, it was wonderfully quiet the entire time. The hosts were lovely and incredibly welcoming; they checked in to make sure we had everything we needed but also gave us plenty of space to enjoy our stay. Imbil is such a lovely little town and super close for a little outing too. We were hoping for a peaceful, relaxing weekend surrounded by beautiful scenery, and that’s exactly what we got.
