We have an infant orchard, mandala veggie patch, tea garden, poultry and a small grass arena. We are a kid, dog and horse friendly property! There is an unofficial rail trail nearby and lots of tracks for horse riding, hiking, rock climbing and motor bike riding. The quaint Gold Mining town of Mount Morgan is steeped in history, with a full suite of facilities and is only 5km away. Rockhampton is 25km and Gracemere 15km away. If you are interested in the history of Moongan, just strike up a conversation with Angie and she will be glad to share what she knows. Please note: Mount Morgan is situated at the top of the great Dividing Range. There are two ways to approach Mt Morgan from the east - up the windy range road A3 Burnett Highway or up the straight and steep (17% incline) Razorback Rd. Our property is located at Moongan just at the top of the steep Razorback incline. USE LOW GEAR from the bottom as it gets steeper towards the top. Directions from Bouldecombe: 4km west of Bouldecombe, turn right onto Poison Creek Rd. Follow until the end (4km) then turn left onto Razorback Rd. In another 4 km you will reach the steep incline and our property is at the top. Despite the address being Leydens Hill Rd, the driveway is actually accessed off Razorback Rd. Don't turn down Leydens Hill Rd, especially if you are towing as this is a narrow road and turning around can be difficult. There is a pit dunny outhouse but no shower. We offer a 10amp outlet only. Please come prepared with whatever equipment is needed to convert to 15amp if required. Water is our most precious and limited resource so please arrive with full tanks and adequate drinking water for the duration of your stay. We are in a dry period right now so it is hot and brown. This is a leave no trace site. Please take all your rubbish with you when you leave. If no one is home to greet you please just choose a site in the front driveway paddock which suits you. 😉 We won't be far away. Come in peace, stay in harmony, leave with a full heart.

Our car broke down and our stay was chaotic (because of the weather) but peaceful got so much rain the kids had a river to swim in a beautiful but cheeky horse would come say hello and 2 snobby alpacas kids had a ball feeding the farm animals they would always try to have left overs to feed the pigs we were stuck and strandard this farm stay made it less stressful and being allowed to have our dogs there was an added bonus

We had a lovely stay here! We have a 22ft caravan and two little kids under five and this was a wonderful stay for our set up and family. The kids (and us) absolutely loved the animals and it was a very peaceful couple of nights away with only a very short drive to Yeppoon, which was also beautiful. A great property. Plenty of grassy reasonably level areas to pick from including a large area with a firepit that would be great for a group. The showers are rustic- a bucket shower but at the end of a day exploring the area it was fantastic. Peace and quiet, we were visited by the chickens and rooster, guinea fowl and bush turkeys. Definitely a camp ground we would return to.

110% recommend! The hosts were amazing and friendly and were great to chat with, the rainforest was beautiful, the facilities were very clean and tidy! The kids loved seeing the chickens and especially the rooster! We will definitely be back! 🏕️

We stayed 4 nights on site 2 and it was perfect. So much space for our van and boat setup, flat spot to park, and some shade. The kids loved feeding the pigs and horse, who was super friendly. Katie was very quick replying to messages, and we ended up meeting both her and Paul who are very friendly and relaxed hosts. Location is great, 20mins to Rosslyn Bay harbour for taking off to the islands. Would definitely return. Thanks for having us having us!
