Dinosaur footprints (preserved as infills) were later found in nine different sections of the Caverns, lining the ceiling dated to the Early Jurassic. There is also a community swimming pool, skate park and general playground near the Dee River on Butler St. The town has three pubs, an IGA, and a small general store directly across the street from the camp site. The Grand Hotel is the oldest pub, and is still trading in town.

Bajool is located on the Bruce Highway, 35 km south of Rockhampton and 74 km north of Gladstone. Eight-Mile Creek flows to the east of the town. Our farm is located 55km north of Rockhampton, conveniently, just a short distance off the Bruce highway. Good road access. Note Rates are per vehicle Max 2 adults and accompanied Children free. Our campsites are great for a weekend adventure with the family or an overnight stopover for travelers. There are lots of options for bushland settings with good privacy or you may prefer to set up in front of a waterhole or out in the wide paddock. Campsites are 2WD friendly and there's enough space for all types of camping vehicles. Bonfire nights catered for upon request - see conditions. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. There is access to rubbish facilities. As you can tell from the name, this is big sky country. We have views for days and days, great sunrises and amazing sunsets. The land features Ironbark and Gum trees and waterholes throughout with rolling pastures. Paid Tours include Pondage areas with Bird life / Horses / Donkeys and Kid Goats and Cattle Goats / Cattle./ Horses / Donkeys As we run beef cattle, and have horses and donkeys too. Our farm animals are very friendly for those on tour and there are photo opportunities aplenty. Campfires are permitted by arrangement of the farm manager, and if weather permits. Weekend Trip to Laurel Bank Farm

Really lovely spot, stunning view of the sunset and there were beautiful birds flying around the camp. The showers were a god send, really nice and just what was needed after the drive!! The directions to the camp are spot on and the welcome and tour around was really appreciated (Poppy the dog was so so cute!)

Welcoming host. Wonderful tidy site. Lovely addition of the animals roaming around (cats and horses). Portaloo was probably the cleanest and most fresh smelling I have ever used. Would highly recommend this site and hope to stay here again in future!

We stayed at Site 5, overlooking the dam, and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved meeting the friendly cows and farm dogs, and our Labrador, Ralphy, especially enjoyed cooling off in the dam — a perfect escape from the heat. The setting was beautiful, the atmosphere tranquil, and the hosts were just the right balance between warm hospitality and privacy. A truly lovely stay.

We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunset, the calm atmosphere and the very warm welcome of Jo, Dave and the lovely dogs! Beautiful spot up on the hill with stunning views and so peaceful and quiet which is just what we needed after spending some time in the city. The best thing about this place is that its exclusive - please don't change that! Stewart drove us to the best spot, and the firepit was an added bonus. Definitely recommend, thanks for having us.

Our car broke down and our stay was chaotic (because of the weather) but peaceful got so much rain the kids had a river to swim in a beautiful but cheeky horse would come say hello and 2 snobby alpacas kids had a ball feeding the farm animals they would always try to have left overs to feed the pigs we were stuck and strandard this farm stay made it less stressful and being allowed to have our dogs there was an added bonus

We had a lovely stay here! We have a 22ft caravan and two little kids under five and this was a wonderful stay for our set up and family. The kids (and us) absolutely loved the animals and it was a very peaceful couple of nights away with only a very short drive to Yeppoon, which was also beautiful. The eggs that we purchased were delicious too! Thank you so much for having us. We would definitely stay here again :)

Easy to access just phoned Margie as we were arriving just had to confirm we were at the right place and get the access code. Well maintained portaloo but otherwise very flat open area was all we needed really
