THERE ARE NO AMENITIES, YOU NEED TO BRING OR HIRE YOUR OWN TOILET, WITHOUT ONE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. No dumping of waste is permitted on the property. The closest dump point is Caboolture Showgrounds (140 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture 4510), which is open 24/7 and approximately 15 km from The Magic Pond.

Harper Creek Road and Harper Creek Criss cross one another as you drive through the valley. The ridges either side of the road are largely timbered, whereas the valley floor is productive land. The large property is located towards the end of this no-through-road, almost at the end of the line. While the property has dual access from both Engle Rd at the top camp; Harper Creek Rd, we enter from the valley.
Camping on the top block is also available for 4WD vehicles only and not suited to large caravans.
Campers are required to be self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits with firewood provided or BYO.
The mid-1900’s cottage sits in an idyllic setting, framed by the trees. The cottage is not yet available for Farm stays but will be soon. The location, vegetation and topography provide the privacy, the fauna & birdlife (the Bellbirds) combine to provide the solitude. Harper Creek cuts through the front corner of the property where it is met by a minor creek that drains the high country.
You want more … how about a total of 115 acres (46.42 ha). While it is predominantly well-treed, it does have some cleared camping opportunities. It is watered by the creeks and one dam. There’s a great camping site at the top of the block, with a fantastic view!
The property is off Aherns Rd, close to the village of Conondale and mid-way between Maleny & Kenilworth. With good access to the freeway via either Maleny or Kenilworth.… a perfect bush camping spot in a perfect setting!
Pets welcome, please ensure they are kept under control and picked up after.

Lovely area to camp, our stay was extremely quiet and private as we had the whole campsite area B to ourselves making a lovely stay. It was unfortunate that the rain had taken a turn towards the end of our stay however Mitch was very understanding. The shower onsite is free and very comfortable to use, very spacious and clean. Would 100% love to come here again.

Our second stay here and we loved it just as much as the first. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot with great hosts and a lovely setup. The pond wasn’t quite as swim-friendly this time due to the lily pads, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. A wonderful place to unwind, we’ll definitely be back.

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here for two nights. The hosts gave great instructions, easy to find spot and close to the city, not too far from civilisation, and the place is beautiful. Lake is very pretty, free kayak use was appreciated, not much of a swimming type lake but you can if you don't mind the lily pads, I took a dip to cool off. Though it could get busy, I expect you'll usually have plenty of space and when we went there were only a few others around, but not close to us, so was very private. I appreciated being able to use our generator briefly for the aircon when it was hot. We recommend and we would stay again.

Absolutely loved camping here. No one else around and beautiful views of the valley. The swing was just the perfect picturesque addition. There were some curious, friendly cows checking me out to complete the experience. It was so peaceful out there - highly recommend and I would love to come and stay there again anytime!
