Children aged 10 and under camp for free. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. KOOKABURRAS KACKLE RULES TO LOOK AFTER OUR BEAUTIFUL MINI HOME 1) Beware of the ECO TOILET system. Rules of upkeep are on the wall at the back of the toilet.Please follow the instructions to care for this environmentally friendly system. 2) No smoking indoors. 3) When smoking outdoors extinguish the butt appropriately and discard rubbish in the bin. 4) Leave outdoor shoes at the door. 5) If you have visitors come and stay you must tell them to look after the place and not cause a problem. 6) Water is scarce. Please be mindful of long showers and leaving taps on or dripping. 7) A small bin is provided in the kitchen for food scraps. 8) General waste a bin is situated outside of the mini house. 9) No pets in the house at all. This will incur a fine if found out. All pets must be pets must be on a chain at all times. 10) RESPECT OUR PROPERTY PLEASE. This campsite is raising money for a midwife clinic that we run in Vanuatu.

Choose from six slashed locations or find your own space! Choose a spot beside the beautifully populated dam to spot the turtles. Fires welcome with plenty of fallen timber available to scavenge. Dogs off leash but not roaming to other camps. Keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 6am. Sites are fully self contained with no power. Accessible for 2WD and towing however bumpy grass track and slippery when wet. *New option* for a walk along our hilltops with stunning expansive views of the surrounding area. Perfect location for a sunset picnic and drinks. Or an energizing workout for that early morning sweat. Entry to the walk is via two barbed wire gates that must remained closed after entry or just slip between the two wires with care. Be aware that there are cattle in these adjoining paddocks who are very friendly and like to follow! They are harmless as long as they aren't being chased. Please keep dogs on a leash during this walk.

We loved this place! The hilltop had the absolute best views and even better sunsets. It was very peaceful and a fantastic weekend away, the hosts were great with communication prior and were very friendly once we had arrived. I dont often go somewhere more than once unless its fantastic and this is one of those places that have me wanting to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeff & Kay's land. It was quiet and private from the road... a perfectly safe place to leave the van whilst we did activities in nearby Toowoomba, including visiting the carnival of flowers. We were the only ones there and really enjoyed the solitude.

We had such a relaxing stay at Elevated Views. The property is beautifully quiet with lovely views—perfect for unwinding. The hosts were absolutely lovely and very accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was great having access to water to refill our camper trailer and access to plenty of firewood, which made things super convenient. One night we had another camper at the second site, but the two sites are spaced out enough that we still felt like we had plenty of privacy. Once they left, we were able to let our dog off-lead, which was a bonus since the area is fully fenced. This spot ticked all our boxes, and we’ve already booked to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great views and thoughtful hosts!

We come across this Jeff & Kay’s Hipcamp by chance, as the Toowoomba Showgrounds was closed for maintenance and all the caravan parks in Toowoomba had no vacancy for a caravans. It was absolutely perfect for us! It was a nicely mowed area, super quiet and very close to our family who we were visiting on our stay. We will be definitely staying again in the future.

The sites were nice and varied. My kids had fun exploring by the dam and we took a nice walk through the property. Our site was nicely cleared and level. Road noise was a bit of a nuisance. My only negative were the hundreds of cactus everywhere. My daughter tripped and landed on a small one, resulting in us spending quite a while tweezing out all of the tiny spikes! The fact that they were everywhere and so hard to spot made for a very nerve wracking stay.

Thanks Beck and Mark for your friendly hospitality…. We had a lovely stay on your property! The dam was so picturesque, the cows visited from time to time, heaps of bird life and it was always lovely to have a visit from Mia and Ace, the best of guard dogs! Easy access into the property and a super location to visit the Bunya Mountains and Crows Nest! The absolute highlight for us though was walking to the Muntapa Tunnel, wonderful to see this piece of history! If we are in the area again we will be sure to stay again!
