3) When smoking outdoors extinguish the butt appropriately and discard rubbish in the bin.
4) Leave outdoor shoes at the door.
5) If you have visitors come and stay you must tell them to look after the place and not cause a problem.
6) Water is scarce. Please be mindful of long showers and leaving taps on or dripping.
7) A small bin is provided in the kitchen for food scraps.
8) General waste a bin is situated outside of the mini house.
9) No pets in the house at all. This will incur a fine if found out. All pets must be pets must be on a chain at all times.
10) RESPECT OUR PROPERTY PLEASE.

Old Peppertree campsite is an elevated campsite that has all weather access and is suitable for 2wd and 4wd vehicles and all RV's and tents.
Bush Camp campsite is further down the back of the property, nearer the bush, downhill, and is suitable for 4wd / SUV vehicles and off-road / higher clearance RV's and tents. However access is fairly easy and this is only a recommendation.
Coobindah is just under 2 hours from Brisbane and is located on the Great Dividing Range. It boasts crisp mountain air and glorious views from the hills.

Fires welcome with plenty of fallen timber available to scavenge. Dogs off leash but not roaming to other camps. Keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 6am. Sites are fully self contained with no power. Accessible for 2WD and towing however bumpy grass track and slippery when wet.
*New option* for a walk along our hilltops with stunning expansive views of the surrounding area. Perfect location for a sunset picnic and drinks. Or an energizing workout for that early morning sweat. Entry to the walk is via two barbed wire gates that must remained closed after entry or just slip between the two wires with care. Be aware that there are cattle in these adjoining paddocks who are very friendly and like to follow! They are harmless as long as they aren't being chased. Please keep dogs on a leash during this walk.

We have a massive dam for swimming or catching yabbies. Camp sites with water front views and the Bunya mountains in the distance.
Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
Come for a walk around the farm with farmer Jono. You can help out with odd jobs like collecting eggs and checking the veggies for the full farm experience.

Such a relaxing and peaceful place. We loved sitting by the firepit at night under the starry sky and waking up to birds in the morning. Rose was quick to respond and made us feel very welcome. Our family had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely retun next

The sites were nice and varied. My kids had fun exploring by the dam and we took a nice walk through the property. Our site was nicely cleared and level. Road noise was a bit of a nuisance. My only negative were the hundreds of cactus everywhere. My daughter tripped and landed on a small one, resulting in us spending quite a while tweezing out all of the tiny spikes! The fact that they were everywhere and so hard to spot made for a very nerve wracking stay.

Great spot for a peaceful getaway. We stayed at the bush camp site which was very spacious and easy to set up on. Great sized fire pit and plenty of room for the 4 legged friends to play around the site. Communication with Regina was excellent and the mowed walking tracks were an added bonus.

Rustic camping at its finest ! Myself and my 3 boys had a blast at the shack. The place has everything you need to enjoy a good cook up over the fire pit. Billy coffee followed by baked bean jaffles. Very clean and no insects whatsoever. Denis even arranged a tour of the Cotton Ginery that was very interesting and to top it of a ride in the tractor. Rose was a great host and her chickens may now have anxiety after my boys chasing them. Such a great stay and both Rose and Denis are of the kindest of people. We will be back.

We visited runella and had one night stay. It was such a awesome place to escape from city chaos. Rose was very helful and she gave information about all the things. The shack had all the needed amneties. Bathrooms were very clean. Its inside shack.Bedrooms and kitchen were very neat and tidy. You can have hot shower using donkey. Firepit is close to shack and very convinient to use. Sunshine and sunset are breathtaking. Everything was well maintained. We will surely come back again. we recommend to visit runella once.

We stayed at the hut on Kent with our little dog, and it’s a nice quiet cozy cabin with an inside fireplace which was great on a nice cold winters night, plus it has a large firepit out the front for over the fire cooking, Rose and Denis were very friendly hosts and we highly recommend I stay at their property.

I've just returned from 3 days tenting at Bush Camp, and it was a beaut! Regina is a fantastic host, and communication is always exemplary. Bush Camp is easily accessed and just a stones throw from civilization, but it's wonderfully secluded with plenty of birdlife and roos, and gorgeous starry nights. There's a great fire ring, and the surrounding trees are spaced perfectly for your hammock! Oh, and when it's blowing a gale there's plenty of room for kite flying! Cooby Dam is just down the road too, which is a big winner for those of us chasing one of those elusive Cooby cod!!!! Thanks for a great stay😊
