There are some great bushwalks on the property that you can enjoy, you may even be lucky to find the rock overhangs, that provide shallow caves heaps of rock formation and grass trees. Property owners have a number of quiet rescue and farm animals onsite including friendly pigs that may visit your campsite. Horses and alpacas on-site. Owners live off the grid using solar power as their only source. We don’t want to commercialise our property keeping it as natural as possible. Phone service is limited with access in high grounds areas. There are some 4wd sites available, please message the host to discuss this. Owners live onsite, so if you have any questions or need further information please ask! There are no amenities here, campers will need to be totally self sufficient and leave no trace when you go. The camp is located 2 hours from Brisbane, 1 hour from Toowoomba. 15 minutes down the road you'll find the unique town of Crows Nest, which has great historic sites, restaurants, pubs and shops. 30 minutes drive away you can visit the Muntapa Tunnel, a heritage-listed tunnel from Narko-Nutgrove Road, Highgrove through to Nutgrove. It was designed by Queensland Railways and built from 1910 to 1913 by Queensland Railways. Bunya mountains are an hours drive.
