Drive into Pittsworth to look at the monument of the Australian World Record Sprinter from the early 1900s, or look at the huge artwork/memorial of Moore’s Trailers. There is a rock fire pit available for campers to relax around in the evenings and enjoy the sunsets. Campers will need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take their waste with them on departure. Pets are welcome, there is a friendly dog on the property so please ensure your pet is friendly before letting them off leash.

Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Come for a walk around the farm with farmer Jono. You can help out with odd jobs like collecting eggs and checking the veggies for the full farm experience. What a great spot! The powered sites are very big and just what I was looking for, and Caitlin was more than hospitable for us during our stay. They are currently installing a small toilet/shower block which will enhance this place even more. Definitely recommend staying here if you can, the friendly dogs were also an added bonus!

Great spot for a peaceful getaway. We stayed at the bush camp site which was very spacious and easy to set up on. Great sized fire pit and plenty of room for the 4 legged friends to play around the site. Communication with Regina was excellent and the mowed walking tracks were an added bonus.

One of the best camping spots I've been at. Animals are friendly and owner accommodating and hospitable. Love the set up with all the animals to interact with and our animals can socialise off lead. Quiet and peaceful would recommend it to anyone who wants to either get away or take time out for some mental health days.

I've just returned from 3 days tenting at Bush Camp, and it was a beaut! Regina is a fantastic host, and communication is always exemplary. Bush Camp is easily accessed and just a stones throw from civilization, but it's wonderfully secluded with plenty of birdlife and roos, and gorgeous starry nights. There's a great fire ring, and the surrounding trees are spaced perfectly for your hammock! Oh, and when it's blowing a gale there's plenty of room for kite flying! Cooby Dam is just down the road too, which is a big winner for those of us chasing one of those elusive Cooby cod!!!! Thanks for a great stay😊

Our stay at Old Peppertree was a private, secure and a relaxing camp for a few days away. Our hosts Regina & Karl, provided awesome communications & directions to their property as well as after arrival, sent a detailed map of their slashed walking tracks. Camping area was shaded & the grass was mowed, perfect area for a wonderful stay for us and our dog.

I recently enjoyed a couple of nights tenting at Regina's Old Peppertree site, and it did not disappoint! Communication was exceptional and directions concise. Easy 2wd access. The site was beautifully maintained with the old peppertree providing a glorious shady haven. Wonderful views of both sunrise and sunset, and a cracking firepit to enjoy on those crisp evenings. As a fisherman and kayaker, the very short trip down the road to Cooby Dam was a big winner. I'll definitely be back!

We loved our long weekend getaway at the Peppertree camp @ Coobinda. The view was spectacular and sunsets just gorgeous. Great little spot to visit surrounding area. Hosts were lovely & helped us navigate our spot after arriving later than expected. Highly rate The Farmers Arms pub 10minutes away. Best eye fillet ever.

Beautiful spot to view stunning sunrise and sunsets. The area was well maintained with walking trails to explore. The dogs loved running around the open spaces and around the old pepper tree. Great place to stay for peace and quiet. We would go back.

Weekend Trip to Pittsworth Camping

My Family (3 caravans, 6 adults and 4 children) had a lovely Easter weekend camping experience with Jason and Emma at Stones Throw Away. Jason is inspirational, having experienced and recovered from a devastating accident which nearly claimed his life. He is building a beautiful farm stay with lovely friendly dogs, goats, chickens, cows, many of whom ran to greet us when we arrived. We loved the daily feeding experience, rides on the quad, the campfires, and many other little things provided to make it a great experience for us all. Jason, thank you for sharing your story and your dreams for the future. We fully intend to visit again each year to see how things develop. It’s. beautiful property and you have every reason to be proud of it and yourselves.

Coobindah was an amazing escape. Our large group had a fabulous time, with enough space for all our gear and room for the kiddos to ride their bikes. We stayed at Bush Camp which was relatively flat and slashed as well. The hosts Regina and Karl were very helpful and accommodating, and always replied to messages quickly. The spot is close to amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants, with plenty of other things to explore nearby. The firewood supplied by the hosts was also fantastic. Definitely recommend this spot.
