We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm. Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity.

Ours is a working farm that the two of us (not young folks) manage on our own. Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy. Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy.
Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant.
Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase.
We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras.
Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

Right now though in our top dam, we have a flock of White Egrets roosting at night, spectacular when they depart & return each day, however due to the number of these birds, hundreds if not more! they have fouled the water in the dam & it's a bit on the nose.

We had a wonderful stay here. Dean is an incredibly kind and welcoming host—he greeted us at the gate, showed us around the campground, and shared lots of helpful local advice. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, and the bathrooms were spotless and well maintained. The campground has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and being able to take a refreshing dip in the creek was a real highlight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-run camping experience.

Great property, with amazing views from the spot we camped at, being Valley views. Enjoyed the scenic walk to the waterfall and enjoyed a refreshing swim.
Definitely would stay again and loved how the Valley view camp spot, had a covered area as weren't sure if a storm would come that night and only brought the swag. Water and toilet with amazing view.

We loved this camp, we parked our van on green grass in the tropical fruit orchard. We were right nxt to the rainforest and a beautiful creek. There was also a waterfall with a big swimming hole 45 min walk. We were pleasantly surprised to find body boards and pool noodles when we got there. The walk was easy with just a few up-hill spots.
The communication was good and the directions were easy to follow. Our dog loved the place too and didn't want to get in the car to leave.
One of my favourite spots after doing 3 laps in 5 years.

We loved our stay here. So peaceful and such a large site just to ourselves, and didn’t have to worry about the kids brothering others. The steep driveway was a bit daunting, but managed fine with AWD. Loved having the big gazebo to set up under and spread out. Had a beautiful night sky view once the clouds cleared.

Plenty of room to camp. Beautiful clean camp areas Toilets available and were in good condition. Lovely creek close to the sites. The Waterfall was a lovely walk but be parpared to walk 45 mins one way and not to get lost. They have a few arrows to guide you but towards the last bit down to the water no arrow and we got a bit lost.

A beautifully maintained property with loads of tropical fruit trees and bird life. The camp sites are well spread out so you can have your own space. The creek is private and great for swimming, with lots of different swimming spots. The waterfall hike is a well maintained easy going track through the untouched tropical rainforest. Cape Tribulation
The northern section of the Daintree National Park is a wild tangle of rainforest leading up to pristine white-sand beaches. Hike through dense rainforest, admire the views along the Jindalba and Marrja boardwalks, and look out for wildlife, including crocodiles and endangered cassowaries. Campers can get back to basics at the Noah Beach camping area, with direct access to the beach.

Port Douglas and the Great Barrier Reef
South of Daintree, Port Douglas is a popular starting point for cruises to the Great Barrier Reef. Set sail on an island-hopping cruise, stop to snorkel and scuba dive along the reefs, or even spend a night on-board. Or, take in the views from the shore with a road trip along the Great Barrier Reef Drive.
When to go
The most pleasant time to explore the Daintree National Park is during the dry season from May through September. Campsites can book up quickly at this time, so plan ahead. Prepare for extreme weather if you visit during the wet season (December through April). Daytime temperatures are often above 30°C, with high humidity and heavy showers most days. Depending on conditions, access to some parts of the park may be limited, and river cruises may not run.
Know before you go
- There is no public transport to Daintree Village, so you will need your own vehicle or to visit as part of a tour.
- Daintree Village has a handful of shops, including a café, post office, and general store. For camping gear or to stock up on supplies, you’ll need to head to Port Douglas, a 45-minute drive away.
- Fire bans are common in Queensland during summer and dry periods, so check local regulations in advance.
