Our farm features lush, green rolling hills with a river, creek and dam traversing the property. There are undulating hills with pockets of forest. The campsites are nestled in the groves of trees next to the creek. There's some great swimming spots, or you can go for a bushwalk and do a spot of fossicking on the water's edge. Some parts of our property are 4WD access only, but we also have good camping spots that can accommodate 2WDs. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Camp under shady trees or in a grassy paddock. We are 10 mins from the Brunswick Heads rivers and beaches. Simple amenities including an outdoor shower. You can purchase firewood or bring your own. Dogs permitted as long as they are kept on a leash or kept within the campsite and it's left clean. All rubbish must be removed. Restricted numbers so you can be sure you won't feel overcrowded. Contact us if any days aren't available as we often get cancellations. There's a country feel yet it's 3 mins away from the thriving township of Mullumbimby. Lots of cafes, artisan shops, Kiva spa, Banya bathhouse and amazing healthy food everywhere. Or enjoy the nightly pilgrimage of the flying foxes across the evening sky. "The Island" is beautiful spot surrounded by a nice strech of the creek. The kids had a great time playing and exploring. A peaceful and quiet spot very close to Tweed Heads, although we didn't encounter another person the entire weekend, just how we like it! We'd go back here again for the tranquility and convenience. Highly recommended for a short stay.

We had the most relaxing stay for 3 x nights and it was magic. A real plus was that we had the site to ourselves down by the creek, an extra bonus. The creek was so pretty, not a lot of water this time of year but I imagine it would be fabulous once some rain comes. None the less it was cooling just to walk through it and sit by it with a glass of wine and listen to the running water. The shower was so simple and simply fantastic!! We stayed for two nights at the Big Dam Camp Site and it was absolutely beautiful. Anna’s hospitality was incredible — she went above and beyond during our stay, and I would 100% recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back! 🥰 We forgot our gas bottles and all the firewood was wet, but Anna helped us out and even lent us her own gas bottle. We’re so thankful for such an amazing host! The campsite we chose had a little dam with a kayak, was extremely private, and was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!

What a beautiful site right next to the Brunswick River and tall trees all around. Facilities very cute with strawberries growing around the shower. Communication with Grant was easy. Very close to Mullumbimby but feels miles away from civilisation. Would happily stay again.

We had an incredible stay at Big Dam Camp, Tweed Valley (Doon Doon Farm). The views were absolutely stunning, and the sense of isolation made it feel like our own private piece of paradise. Surrounded by nature, with friendly cows wandering by and peaceful scenery all around, it was the perfect escape. Just a short drive to Nimbin too, which made for a great day trip. Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to unwind and reconnect with nature.
