Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home in the Scenic Rim. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek to take in the views, were you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and the sun set over the mountains to the west. This fully contained cabin is approximately 30 square metres and features a small veranda out the front facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. Sit back and relax on the bench seat or table and chairs. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek and the mountains to the west. Relax on the deck chairs and read a book, or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside.The loft bedroom has a queen bed. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge room has a couch, 40 cm TV with DVD player, small table and chairs. There’s no free to air TV channels available. BYO DVD or there’s a small selection available. No Wi- Fi There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin National Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches. 2 nights at Amorata Eco Farm

We loved Stuart's place for a peaceful getaway from the hustle & bustle. Is positioned perfectly for nearby walking trails & visits to quaint local villages. The Forest Gypsy tiny home is nestled amongst a beautiful canopy, is very private and has the basic essentials to get you through the day. A fire pit, sauna and nature pool were on offer but we didn't take advantage of these. Stuart was very kind to let us pick fruit from his orchard - the scent of the orange blossoms was divine. Sushi the dog happily greeted us each day, with plenty of cuddles & kisses. Taking in the clean country air, gazing at the night time sky and mingling with the resident fireflies was an absolute pleasure. Stuart was very personable & ensured our stay was most enjoyable :-). We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to The Cabin, Ghost Gum Gully

If you want tranquillity in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by wildlife, then this is the place for you. The cabin is a combination of rustic charm and modern comforts. Awesome firepit area which is great for the cooler nights. The host Cara has thought of every little thing you will need. Decor is great - full of lots of little treasures and repurposed items. Plenty of music, books, and games to keep you entertained (there's also tv, wifi, etc if that's your thing). Hubby is 6'4" and had no problem with the loft bed.

Weekend Trip to Amorata Eco Farm

A fantastic place to slow down and relax - just far enough from the rest of the world for some peace and quiet, while close enough to have anything you could possibly need within reach. We were relieved to hear that the tiny home was accessible with a sedan, and charmed by how cozy the cabin was - the addition of the sauna and pool tying it all together for a stay to come back for. Of course, none of this would have been possible without Stu, who was a wonderful host and warm, friendly person.

Stuart's hospitality and care free outlook made us feel very comfortable even when our naughty dogs broke out of the chicken coop, (again sorry for our escapees) it didn't seem like it was too much of an issue. 4 nights at Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin & Camp

We had the best time in Cedar creek cabin!, really quiet and close to lamington national park where there are some great hikes. Christmas creek is also within walking distance which is an added bonus. The accommodation was very clean, tidy and cosy. Our host met us upon arrival and was very lovely. I would definitely recommend for hikers or even people wanting an Escape to the country.

Weekend Trip to Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin & Camp

Stayed in the cabin for a weekend and absolutely loved it, it's really cute. Very comfortably furnished, nice and clean, and for only a couple it's deceptively spaceous. The back deck is fantastic, quite large with a few good options for seating (sun lounges!), and gets a really nice breeze down the valley. Incredibly quiet and peacefull spot, perfect for reading a book and checking out of the world for a few days. It was a little warm for us to light a fire, so I guess we'll just have to come back in winter for another shot.
