We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away.
We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane.
The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude.
From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest.
There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway.
It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.
Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊♂️

Camping at the Eco Park is great for those who enjoy the relaxing bush setting, birds and wildlife and gazing into the clear night sky. We have an abundance of Kangaroos, Wallabies, other Australian native wildlife and many Bird varieties which is an attraction for many visitors.
With powered or unpowered camping/van sites, plus bunkhouse single beds and private queen bedrooms, there are options to suit most visitors. A stay at the EcoPark is a great getaway from the stresses of city living. We provide amenities block with male and female toilets, hot showers, laundry, and a covered Camp Kitchen with cooking facilities, fridges and an oven.
The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. The Village green is also host to monthly markets and music events, children's playground, shared office space, book exchange, weekly pingpong and exercise groups.
Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family.
The Bakery is Open Friday nights, Saturday and Wednesday mornings for Bread, Pastries and Coffees.

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

- Porfiri Road (in places) does not do well after heavy rains! So please advise me of your vehicle type in your booking.

- Motor-homes and large campervans cannot make the drive (regardless of the weather)
- AWD and 4x4 no problems. Vehicles with lift will have no problems.

The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities.
We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay.
All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area.

A stay at the EcoPark is a great getaway from the stresses of city living. We provide amenities block with male and female toilets, hot showers, laundry, and a covered Camp Kitchen with cooking facilities, fridges and an oven.
The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. The Village green is also host to monthly markets and music events, children's playground, shared office space, book exchange, weekly pingpong and exercise groups.
Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family.

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay.

A beautiful and peaceful space with everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, vege garden, birds, frogs, privacy. I loved using the outdoor bath. Bathroom and toilet spaces are very functional and clean.
I love that there is no phone service, beautiful space to connect with nature. Used herbs and lots of beautiful spinach from the garden.
Kenilworth and Imbil towns 15 minute drive, and can get service there if you need.

My wife and I had such a nice time on the farm. We both loved the cabin and how you could get up and close with all the animals. It was a nice touch having the door next to the kitchen set up where you could pat and brush the cows and goats right there! We also were given a jar of chicken feed and some hay for the animals so we could feed them when we wanted - and they were all so used to humans. We enjoyed a lovely stay at dragonfly cottage. It has everything you could possibly need and the kitchen is very well appointed.
The bathroom and outdoor toilet is very luxurious and we felt like it was a hotel standard of bathroom.
It was a very hot weekend but luckily there was a fan in the cottage that ran off 12 V power so we managed to stay cool at night.
Perfect for a couple, I think it might be a stretch with more than two adults.
Glen was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely consider coming back.

What a beautiful, tranquil spot. The cabins are comfortable with gas hot water to the ensuite, two burner gas cooktop, solar lighting and a 240 volt outlet suitable for the supplied fan or charging phones and laptops. The firepit area is shady during the day and close to the creek. Lots of birdlife and we spotted possums, marsupial mice, platypus and wallabies.
Host Jimmy is very helpful and welcoming and his directions are clear.

The cottage was lovely and a perfect break from technology. The river was walking distance for a swim which was nice.
There was a couple of things such as the outdoor lighting (didnt work) and the pond (very smelly if the wind was blowing the wrong way) needed some TLC. But overall a good stay.

6 nights at Nature's Edge Cottage & Campsites.
We really enjoyed our stay, a first time experience for us staying off grid. Glen and Dominique have really put thought into Dragonfly Cottage. We loved the bathroom, kitchen and outdoor area ( the car stereo with playlist was a nice touch ) The perfect place to escape and be with nature and we had plenty to keep us entertained during out stay. Would definitely recommend
