If you prefer to skip sunrise you can always start your day by preparing some dough for a pizza night with the family. The outdoor patio is equipped with a TV to watch the footy on while you fire up the pizza oven. Giving you the freedom to create all the pizza combos you wished dominos had.
Even though it is a shed it has all the basic ammenties any place has. The only difference is the ceiling looks a bit different. Fully equipped kitchen is stocked with all of the things you'd need to cook a sunday roast or even a microwave meal if you'd prefer. Complimentary coffee and tea for those that need it. The bathroom has a large shower with a gas hot water system. Its a dream for anyone who enjoys hot showers. Dual washing machine and dryer for those wet weather days that won't allow you to use the clothes line.
We can accomodate up to six guests. Bedroom one contains two single beds, a 40" smart Tv and USB charging outlets along with a small cuboard for clothes storage. Bedroom two which has been closed in utilising large wardrobes with hanging and shelf storage. This contains one queen size bed and a 40" smart TV along with USB charging outlets. We have added a sofa bed in the lounge room that is equivallent to a double bed. All beds linen has been provided to allow for a comfortable stay. All TVs have access to netflix as well for those much needed movie nights.
The yard is fully fenced with plenty of space for your boat or jet skis. Public boat ramp is only 2.5km's from the property giving you access to the fish the nearby reefs and fraser island. There is a hose long enough to flush out your gear and give the boat a quick hose down when you finally decide to come back to land.
Fraser island sealink ferry is only a 35 minutes drive away to make a day trip to one of the largest sand islands in the world. Hervey bay Wetside Water Park is also only a 20 minute drive away and is a perfect way to keep the kids happy and entertained. Swim with the turtles at Reef world Aquirium or go for a wander down the Urangan peer. FInish up the day with some dinner at the Hervey Bay boat club with a beer or wine in hand.
If you have missed any essentials or you're craving a crumb sausage the Toogoom convenience store is only 800m down the road along with the pharmacy. Guests are welcome to roam freely, though please note that sheds, machinery areas, and the commercial kitchen are off-limits. Secure undercover parking is provided, and you’ll find easy access through the front gate with entry to the house through the backyard.
We welcome pets, with a secure yard for them to enjoy, though they are not permitted inside the cottage.
Local highlights include Curra Ridge Horse Riding just 20 km away, the seasonal whale-watching opportunities at Hervey Bay (1 hour away, July to November), and the historic Mary Valley Rattler steam train in Gympie, a 45-minute drive. Closer by, the Bauple Museum offers fascinating local history, and the nearby town of Tiaro—just 15 minutes away—has everything you need with local pubs, eateries, a post office, and a small grocery store.

Rogers place is a very pleasant surprise, he was an awesome host, very hospitable and attentive as well as an excellent cook.

Stayed in the couple’s cabin. Absolutely beautiful. Comfy bed. Came with everything you need for cooking on the bbq, cutlery plates even bug spray and chairs. Super impressed. The shower facilities are amazing. The property is stunning. And Colin is so welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Had a great spot to setup camp with all the amenities close by. The outdoor shower which is gas heated worked extremely well and had a great view of the garden. We spent a lot of time in the spa which worked well and was always hot and ready to go.

Weekend Trip to Synergy Beachside Nudist Retreat
By far one of the best places I’ve stayed in. It’s a different experience where we felt comfortable and safe at all times, considering this was our fist time. The house is huge plenty of facilities, close to the beach, and really well maintained. Rog is so kind, respectful, friendly and made us feel home. For girls, travelling alone or with company, it’s definitely a good option to stay the night. My partner is thinking about going back with her friends to enjoy this experience. Thanks Rog for everything and we’ll be back one day.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campsite, and it was an unforgettable experience. The cabin was cozy and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for a truly relaxing stay.
The host Colin and Katrina were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was the variety of animals on the property. We enjoyed interacting with their horse, geese, chickens, goats and even cute piglets and of course their playful dog! It was a delightful experience. Being off grid, the campsite offered a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The facilities were with a short walk from the cabin, clean toilets and showers that added to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, this campsite provided a perfect escape, combining natural beauty, excellent amenities, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat.
P.S. if you are into fossicking, you can enjoy the gold mines.

Everything provided no need to pack extras as all linen, body wash, shampoo and even dog shampoo, all detergents washing powder bin liners are all provided including a dishwasher and a gas bbq with gas bottles. We had the best family holiday at the Beach Shed! Sarah and Grant have thought of everything here! It was so nice and private, amazing beach access, close to the boat ramp and set up perfectly for our large family! (The big outdoor table, bbq and festoon lights with the outdoor TV was our favourite space to hangout and play games and eat all the mud crabs we caught!)
We did have a bit of a heatwave during our stay so we didn’t try out the pizza oven unfortunately, but we’ll be back for sure! Thanks Sarah and Grant for sharing your place! It’s pretty special!
