Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Misty Mountain Wildlife Refuge is a 330 acre farm which provides sanctuary to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and many bird species including their habitats. There are Alpacas and Sheep, Kangaroos, Wombats, Kookaburras, Echidnas and many other animals that enjoy this property. The land has 80 acres of cleared grassland this side of the river, and for the adventurous and energetic you can rome the other 250 acres by crossing to the other side of the rive, there are large stands of rainforest and bushland, with 2.5 km of Brown Mountain Creek and its tributary meandering through it. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm. The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape. There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance. A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc. Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter. Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated. All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground. All river access points are shared, be mindful of others. As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family, all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way. Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen. We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehcile traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

Welcome to Wombats Perch, a 4 acre block with access to the beach 150m from the bottom boundary. We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park. To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers. We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 8 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage. Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks. The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay. Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins. Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp. Please note, ticks are common in the area. Best to pack a freeze pen or Lyclear cream. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Based near Mount Utopia, Nerrigundah, we fell in love with our little sanctuary in 2020. There are two families Dwayne, Michelle, Robbie and Sharon and their four boys Blake, Taeg, Cooper and Flynn. Campers at heart, we started spending nearly every second weekend in our campers and this lead to many a night discussing what else we could do to make this property a place for others to use. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come, currently there is a ablution block that is up near the old house site, we decided it was best to have the camp area closer to the river. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen. We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehcile traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

Wombat's Perch - Eden Cove

Welcome to Wombats Perch, a 4 acre block with access to the beach 150m from the bottom boundary. We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park. To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers. We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 8 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage. Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks. The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay. Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins. Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp. Please note, ticks are common in the area. Best to pack a freeze pen or Lyclear cream. We hope you enjoy your stay.

The Sancuary is nestled in a bushland setting, 9kms north of Merimbula, Far South Coast NSW. Based near Mount Utopia, Nerrigundah, we fell in love with our little sanctuary in 2020. There are two families Dwayne, Michelle, Robbie and Sharon and their four boys Blake, Taeg, Cooper and Flynn. Campers at heart, we started spending nearly every second weekend in our campers and this lead to many a night discussing what else we could do to make this property a place for others to use. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come, currently there is a ablution block that is up near the old house site, we decided it was best to have the camp area closer to the river. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Our little piece of Utopia is still a work in progress but is picturesque as well as peaceful. Your furry family member is welcome to join you. We hope you enjoy our little Utopia.

Absolutely beautiful farm and camp site! The Camp by the Dam site was private, peaceful, scenic and sheltered from the wind, with views over the dam. We experienced a lot of wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, frogs, horses and heaps bird life). We spotted kookaburras, nectar eaters and two different kinds of Kingfisher birds (if you enjoy birdwatching, I recommend taking binoculars!). It was the perfect spot for our dog to be primarily off lead and she absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to run and play. We had the entire farm to ourselves for our three night stay, and even if other campers had been on site, it still would have been very private. Waking up to bird song was absolutely delightful. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were great to have access to, within a short distance walk. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and washing up facilities, dining table, air conditioning and power points to recharge our power bank for our phones. There were plenty of communal areas which would be perfect for group events (large outdoor dining area/table and chairs, fire pit, beautifully landscaped spaces, events building with large kitchen, dining and lounge area). There were recycling and general rubbish bins, and toilet paper was provided. We ordered a wheelbarrow of wood for our three night stay which was more than enough for our time there and was ready on site for our arrival. We can't wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Merimbula Camping. The bush scenery was lovely and the wombats were hilarious and cute. They liked my caravan and used it as a backscratcher at various times in the night. I then put solar lights around so they mostly stayed away. I loved seeing them in the paddock each night - gentle and quiet. There are many other spacious and beautiful sites with drum fireplaces. The toilets were fine. Hot showers available up at the house. Excellent location just out of town . Water available (bring jerries) on site but you can also get it near town on the Bega Rd out. Dump point available in Pambula a few kms away. Great camping - I’ll be back Meredith !

What a great place they have made, alot of thought & hard work has gone into this camping spot. Having showers & toilets was great. We realy loved the area. Great beach, crystal clear water. Very peaceful. You can do as much as you like or as little as you like. We only had 1 visit from Mr Goanna ( that we saw) but he just toddled along & was fine. Mr Red Belly Black Snake just slithered along up in the bush by the side of the track, we just kept still & he slithered away so all good. Obviously when you are camping in the bush you have to expect & respect the bush animals. The only thing is the Drive in, we drove in when it had rained the Mountain was covered in Mist & Fog so it was very Daunting on the dirt/sandy Mountain road, definantly 4 Wheel drive road especially towing a caravan. It is a beautiful spot and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Weekend Trip to Kiah Wilderness Camp

We absolutely loved camping with Jenny and Arthur. Arthur met us on the highway and escorted us to our site. The site was huge and level with mown green grass. For a small additional price, you can access potable water and power, which we did not need on our weekend trip, but is great for those planning a longer stay. The river ran up to the site. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold for swimming, but the water looked inviting. The toilet was a long drop, but it was immaculate, with tap water for washing your hands. The wildlife was diverse, and spotting the different birds and animals was a fun activity. I would thoroughly recommend Kiah Wilderness Camp.

We loved camping here. Perfect for exploring the area and chilling at the same time. It feels more like a rural campsite than a bush camp being a stone’s throw away from the main road. Super friendly and easy going hosts. Respectful owners mindful of our dog’s needs. Enjoyed chatting with both Julie and David. Dunny is exactly that - a dunny! But we didn’t mind. And our pooch loved the place. Stunning views and amazing campfire set up, both for warming up and cooking. So much wood provided, makes the nightly fee very much worth it. Be wary of ticks, we saw several and I got bitten but we were prepared and so wasn’t an issue. A great experience and wonderful hosts!
