Little river is a large campsite set up for groups , it has a large undercover area , with basic cabins . There are flushing toilets and hot showers, the use of our commercial kitchen is included . Little River is a private venue so you get the site to your group only. Imagine waking up to the sound of the birds busily going about their day , or spotting many of the wildlife around. Little river is surrounded by pristine bush land with spectacular views of the escarpment . It suits groups for gathering ,parties , weddings , family birthdays or friends get together. There is ample space to bring your own camper or tent , it does have basic cabins available for use . Little River is very private and is bounded by Webbs Creek, which is a tidal water way and great for a swim , bring a kayak or blow up floats and enjoy the serenity. There is space to play music into the evening must cease at midnight. There are beautiful mowed fields for games . We do offer packages including meals for weddings and parties price on application. Little River suits groups of 30 or more the basic pricing is for the minimum of 30. Kitchen is set up with all the basics for cooking , with a large walk in cool room,stove top , oven , BBQ microwave ,however there are no plates cups or cutlery provided please BYO. Little Creek Retreat

The Little Creek Retreat is conveniently located 1km north of Lithgow town centre at the end of the road nestled at the bottom of the valley near a pretty little creek. It sits next to the heritage state mine which you may view and have tours on the weekend. We have recently opened our first cozy site with outdoor seating and cooking area fire pit with free firewood for up to 6 people. Feel free to pet our miniature goats. They are very friendly. Please ask before feeding them! One private camping toilet is available for use. Local kangaroos sometimes drop by. Plenty of wildlife with kookaburras, parrots, currawongs and even a shy wombat. Mini goats are sometimes on the property as well. There are many amazing local bush walks and plenty of fascinating history and things to do. Space for one car, tent, caravan or trailer 10m x 4m wide clear flat area with easy access next to outdoor seating and fire pit. 2 minute drive to cafes and shops and town centre, bus stop is 100m away, train station 1 km away. We are conveniently close to town so you may hear occasional noise yet mostly quiet. Lithgow tourism centre has plenty of information and activities to do. There are scenic lookouts, climbing, canyoning, bike trails or simply relax with great eateries and historical sites. Fires are permitted when there are no RFS bans in place. Note: there is no water on the property so you will need to allow enough to ensure you have completely extinguished your fire before you depart. It is ok to collect fallen kindling, no chain sawing of trees. Wood is provided free of charge for small fires only. If you use the kindling please play if forward and collect for the next person. If you need more wood simply message me. There is a camping toilet with toilet paper and hand sanitizer supplied. Well behaved pets are welcome and we encourage you to keep your dog on a lead if they are likely to adventure too far from your site and disturb the local wildlife or other campers. No cats as there are many native birds. Please take all your belongings and rubbish with you when you leave. If you are interested in free accommodation, we are open to exchange labour as they is always plenty to do on the farm.

'Elouera Vale' Farm

Elouera Vale is a working farm located just outside Mittagong NSW. We breed and train camels for sale, especially into the Southern Highlands. Camels are excellent for weed control and co-grazing with cattle. 'Elouera Vale' also breeds Belted Galloway cattle, Dorper and Wiltipol sheep and donkeys. Our property covers over 140 acres, 80 acres cleared and pasture improved and the rest consisting of forest. The Chain O Ponds creek runs through the property and makes for a lovely walk. The campsite is located on the high side of the property that looks over into the valley & has stunning views of the Berowra National Park. There is a multitude of walking, hiking and mountain bike trails. There are also many nearby horse riding trails. The property backs on to Calabash Creek which is like a rain Forrest once you get down to the valley floor. Berowra waters is near by, whereby many fishing, canoeing, boating activities are available, coupled with some great cafes/restaurants. Campfires are allowed as long as there are no restrictions in place and they are supervised. Pets are welcome and can be off leash, however are the responsibility of their human parents. The property has ample room to accommodate larger groups that might want to hold milestone celebrations such as Birthday parties, whereby all sites will be closed to accommodate such events. Recently Calabash Haven hosted a party of 50 people for 50th Bday celebration. Feel free to inquire to see if we can accommodate your needs. Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure.

Our family run farm is also home to Speckle Park cattle (some of the prettiest cows you will ever see), horses, ponies, miniature donkeys, pigs, camels, alpacas, llamas, fallow deer, miniature goats, guinea pigs and bunnies - and that’s just the start! In fact, we have more than 24 different types of animals on our farm. We offer many different opportunities to meet our resident farm animals - from Farm tours, High Tea with the Goats, Donkey tours and Camp Oven cook ups. We also offer General Admission at other times. Available from 10am - 4pm, Weekends and School holidays. Other times by appointment. Our farm experiences are fabulous for individuals, couples, families and even large groups (we’ve also hosted hens weekends). Mckeown’s Rest, situated at Kenzell Farm is a bnb available for overnight stays. Camping is also available via Hipcamp.We have drinking water available for campers, however, no toilets or showers so you'll need to bring your own camp loo and take all waste with you. Pets welcome but to be kept on a lead, please and poop picked up. You are welcome to have fires in the provided drum/firepit. Wood is provided and can also be collected from the property for use during your stay.
