If you have stayed in the past and found it too noisy, or been put off by the proximity to the highway, then come and experience the difference. You won’t be disappointed.
An ideal base to explore the Nambucca Valley, Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Dorrigo and discovering the delights of the area.

Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas.
The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores.
The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo.
The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees.
Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more.

Located on the Mid North Coast NSW, 4kms off the Pacific Highway, and a quick 13/15-minute drive to the holiday township of Port Macquarie. Port Macquarie is known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery and walks, koala hospital, local strawberry and tomato picking, and 4WDing at nearby beaches and through Cairncross State Forest.
Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement.
The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers. During NSW School Holidays, host led animal interactions will be available at designated times.

Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores.
The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo.
The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees.

Port Macquarie is known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery and walks, koala hospital, local strawberry and tomato picking, and 4WDing at nearby beaches and through Cairncross State Forest.
Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement.
The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers. During NSW School Holidays, host led animal interactions will be available at designated times.

Guests can explore our natural bushland, and we have access to the crystal-clear waters of the upper reaches of the Nambucca River. We have abundant wildlife and birds on the property from magnificent Wedge Tail Eagles to tiny little Blue Wrens and Wallabies galore. Fire pit and timber provided for your personal use, weather conditions permitting. The access to our property consists of roughly 3 km of dirt road which is usually in a reasonable condition.

We organically grow and aim to be
self-sustaining with seasonal
fruits n veges. We are located up river in the Macleay Valley Food Bowl of NSW Australia.
Up river in the Macleay Valley Food Bowl area we are away from city pollution, where the air and cloud water remains uncontaminated.
Our produce/products have been awarded prizes when entered in the local shows in the region.
We do not use chemicals, pesticides or herbicides, just biodynamic and organic nutrients. Many of these are made on the farm. Our produce is grown with Love, hand tendered and cured naturally.
Since the property was savagely burnt in late 2019 bushfires, the farm has been in remission, and we are using restorative practices for land rehealth.

This is our family home and we welcome you to come share our unique slice of Crescent Head. Private, beautiful native bushland, only 16 minutes drive from Crescent Head beach and shops.
Must have own toilet. Suitable for tents, camper trailers, RVs and caravans. You must be self-sufficient, there is no power and no toilet. Water is available for use & grey water can be run out onto grass. We have grassy sites nearby our home, our house is close and visible from the sites and you will see/hear us come and go at times.
See kangaroos, koalas, goannas, birds during your stay. Enjoy camp fires and bush walks. Day trip north to Hat Head and South West Rocks or 40 mins South to Port Macquarie.
Your pets are welcome, however, they must be kid friendly and not chase any wildlife. We offer dog sitting, please enquire though as we arnt always available for this.

Great property! Lovely private spot with a great swimming hole. The host takes great pride in the property and it shows, the upkeep of the site was immaculate and directions to reach the site were also very clear. We spent one night stopping over at the property at the end of a trip, however we wished we could stay longer and would definitely love to come back in the future.

What a slice of heaven!
We came on a cloudy couple of days but it still did not disappoint.
Our daughter and dog had so much land to run around on and he creek was magnificent!! Yes there is a bit of muck in the water but who cares!? It was still Crystal clear and warm.
We had a visit off the hosts puppy who was adorable anda brief interaction with the host who was super friendly and respectful.
Couldn’t fault a thing!!!
It required three river crossings and a small but steep Hill to get to the campsite. We are no way experienced caravans but we managed all obstacles fine. No need for putting down tyre pressure or using recovery gear.

Pretty much everyting was a standout. We stayed for 1 week and opted for a powered site near the inground pool. Beautiful quiet spot surrounded by beautiful trees, shrubs snd bird songs. Richard was an amazing host. He kindly let us use his washing machine to do a load of washing. Large sheltered area by the pool with table, chairs and a BBQ. The campfire was a real joy to sit around and cook baked spuds over coals. Would 100% recommend a stay here. We plan on coming back again. Well done Richard.

We had an amazing stay at The Hatch and couldn’t recommend it more. Susan and Bernard were incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The campsites are spacious and well laid out, with large shelters and easy access to the river. Toilets and showers were spotless and clearly very well maintained. The setting is wonderfully relaxing and quiet—perfect for switching off and enjoying nature.
For families, the animal nursery and the abundance of playground equipment would be a real highlight. We also loved the free kayaks, which were fantastic for exploring the river, and there are plenty of great spots for fishing too.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be coming back.

The Grove was a beautiful and well situated campsite for a trip with my partner and our dog. The trees were shady (essential for hot weekend) and there were many birds, so the feel was very natural although you camp close to the working farm facilities. The owners and caretakers are around, friendly and not intrusive.
The shower and toilet are a convenient short walk from camp & kept clean. A daily shower was blissful in the heat. We had plenty of firewood to cook with & my partner loved chopping the big logs provided.
The resident dog Simba loves to come and say hi. We enjoyed this mostly, and he played well with our dog. We had to put in a bigger boundary with him when he started eating my dog’s food, & was persistent in asking for games when we were relaxing. He did listen to commands when we became firmer & spent a bit less time with us.
There are only two campsites and this suited us as we were looking for privacy and connection while we were away from our busy lives. One night a group came to camp right next to us in a spot we hadn’t seen as designated for camping. This felt less peaceful and private. I would suggest if you are after privacy, to confirm what spaces will be used.
Overall a really wonderful experience & my dog was relaxed and often off leash. Rod gave information on local swimming holes, which are a short drive away & beautiful. The location is within 30/45mins to towns for experiences and supplies. We had an excellent stay & totally recommend.

It was a grand camp-site with beautiful water views. Very quiet and calm. We had a party of 12 with a caravan, tents and swags, a boat and 2 jetskis with plenty of room to spare. We had our cars beside us. We found out to be a very secure site. Susan and Bernard were very accommodating and approachable. All of the animals were great. The babies were so cute and being able to pat and hold them was. a highlight. We caught some fish from the bank and jagged a big crab that we cooked up for a snack for 12. Firewood and bait was available to purchase and the amenities were well looked after. The young at heart enjoyed the trampoline and the climbing equipment.
