Suitable for all size caravans, motorhomes, or any RV, 2WD's, tents, camper trailers and 4WD's with excellent all weather access straight off the main sealed road👍🏼 Lovely shady sites as well as plenty of open sunny pasture for your solar with use of shared portaloos in main camping paddock. You may also camp in the dam paddock by the water (when available) however, you will need to be completely self sufficient with your own porta potty. From here it's 15 minutes to Bellingen, 25 minutes to the famous Pub With No Beer and 5 minutes to the historic "verandah posts" town of Bowraville. Here you will find beautiful bird watching, animals and wildlife. Park your car or set up your caravan next to the river where you will wake up to amazing views. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, breathe in the fresh clean air, try a spot of fishing or sit back and enjoy some bird watching. Warm your feet by the campfire in the evenings. ​We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, a picnic table and rubbish facilities. We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite and the river but 2WDs are ok. Your pet is welcome to camp with you.

HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores. The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo. The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees. Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more. The 2 Winegrove campsites are located along 1.2km overlooking the pristine Clarence river exclusively spaced @ 500m apart. P2 and P3 also have great views and are sheltered and private. Note: Fig Tree Lookout P2 is out of flood levels and can be accessed by high clearance 2WD, however we do recommend having 4WD just in case during wet conditions. Boulder Bay P3, which has ONLY 4WD access, can flood during a major flood in the Clarence river, however you can park/camp higher up when wet. [Note: Hacketts Haven is our new property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 13-14 metres clear/elevated from the river.] Obedient pets permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. Each campsite is private, peaceful, and set among the trees, with composting toilets available. Firewood is free and water can be supplied, and in season you’ll enjoy lovely fresh rainwater. Access to shower available on request. There are fresh water dams to cool off in if you want. No light pollution here so great night star gazing and the morning bird chorus is outstanding. Whether you’re in a 2WD, caravan, campervan, or tent, all setups are welcome here. There’s plenty of firewood for a classic “bush TV” (campfire), and endless opportunities for bushwalking, bike riding, birdwatching, or simply relaxing under the stars. Nature lovers will find themselves at home the area teems with native wildlife and stunning flora. The morning bird chorus is a great way to welcome a new day. Pets on leashes are welcome to join you camping. As Shark Creek and the Paperbark forest is nearby there may be a few insects about , the bush tv controls them but make sure you bring some mossie spray to be sure. HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores. The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo. The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees. Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more. A magical land that time forgot - Tranquil and Peaceful. The 2 Winegrove campsites are located along 1.2km overlooking the pristine Clarence river exclusively spaced @ 500m apart. P2 and P3 also have great views and are sheltered and private. Note: Fig Tree Lookout P2 is out of flood levels and can be accessed by high clearance 2WD, however we do recommend having 4WD just in case during wet conditions. Boulder Bay P3, which has ONLY 4WD access, can flood during a major flood in the Clarence river, however you can park/camp higher up when wet. [Note: Hacketts Haven is our new property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 13-14 metres clear/elevated from the river.] Obedient pets permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. Firewood for sale by the bag at homestead.

Keep an eye out for the wooden “DEERGUN” sign on your left, that’s your entrance to the campground. Only 15 minutes from Maclean and around 30 minutes from the coast, it’s the perfect base to explore the Clarence River, nearby beaches, and the natural beauty of the region. Each campsite is private, peaceful, and set among the trees, with composting toilets available. Firewood is free and water can be supplied, and in season you’ll enjoy lovely fresh rainwater. Access to shower available on request. There are fresh water dams to cool off in if you want. No light pollution here so great night star gazing and the morning bird chorus is outstanding. Whether you’re in a 2WD, caravan, campervan, or tent, all setups are welcome here. There’s plenty of firewood for a classic “bush TV” (campfire), and endless opportunities for bushwalking, bike riding, birdwatching, or simply relaxing under the stars. Nature lovers will find themselves at home the area teems with native wildlife and stunning flora. The morning bird chorus is a great way to welcome a new day. Pets on leashes are welcome to join you camping. As Shark Creek and the Paperbark forest is nearby there may be a few insects about , the bush tv controls them but make sure you bring some mossie spray to be sure. HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. A beautiful spot with lovely hosts. We booked last minute and took our camper trailer with our dog and 3 year old and everyone loved it. We ended up moving to the western finger because it was a bit more spacious and secluded. We enjoyed a few walks, wildlife, relaxing and the curious and very friendly horses that paid us a visit in the morning. We had an amazing time and will hopefully be back soon. 100% recommend it to anyone looking to get back to nature!

Great spot by the river, we took our dogs on a kayak down the river and they loved it 😁Cleanest composting toilet I've ever seen! Arne gave us plenty of time to settle in after our arrival time before coming down for a quick check-in and home-grown spinach delivery. The spot is close to Battery falls, and nested in beautiful forest which he gave us a brief history of. It felt secluded enough, but we had a good chat with some locals by the river who'd spotted a platypus not 20m from the road crossing! The fireflies surrounding the camp were pretty magical too. Would recommend 🌞

Booked a powered site and directions to the grounds were adequate. Great grassy areas and level ground for our van. Toilet, shower and laundry facilities were very good and clean. Great hot showers. Bug spray a definite as HUGE horseflies/marchflies. Amazing fire flies in the bushes at night which moved out over the camp ground when things were settled. Great covered picnic table areas and kids playground. Very limited to no phone service- wifi on the corner or picnic area but still limited. 5minutes drive towards Coffs you could get good coverage if you really need it but it was great to escape from all that. Only 1 other couple there for our 3 night stay so very peaceful.

My partner and I really enjoyed our camping experience on the Belinger River.. The scenery was picturesque, lush green grass and landscape and a beautiful river to swim in. Also a great place for our fury child to run around.. Ben was prompt and easy to communicate with. What an amazing spot very private and one with nature. Make sure you turn right before you start heading up the hill into the banana farm as Google Maps will take you. This is not the right way. This is an old peach farm, set over 25 acres with a quarter of the property cleared (our house and gardens there) and the rest left untouched. Only seven minutes off the Pacific highway but it feels like a world away. Perfect for a nice overnight stop. We've set up the camping area in a nice clearing immersed into the lovely natural forest surroundings. You will be camping next to an awesome lake where you can go for a paddle or a swim. Other than the summer hum of cicadas or the cackle of some resident kookaburras, it's peaceful and private. There are plenty of roos and wallabies around, as well as lots of birdlife including black swans in the lake. You can paddle in the lake and try to catch a fish there. We've set up a little homemade pontoon. So far only one spot to camp (that will fit up to 4 cars if you come in a group), so you will have the place all to yourselves. The next house (our Shouse) is at least 300m away from the camping area, so solitude and privacy is guaranteed. The property is close to plenty of beach options or nice little towns such as Woolgoolga (25 min south) and Grafton (25 minutes north).

We are just 10 minutes off the Pacific Highway, between Maclean and Brooms Head. The camp is currently set up for private use for one booking. Please contact the host first for group bookings (up to 15 persons). There is a sink with filtered rain water on the deck, an instant gas hot water shower behind the main deck and also a compost toilet. There is a small solar power set up to run the sink and shower pump. The site in OFF-GRID on tank water only, so it is important to be mindful of water use and make sure taps are off when not in use. Bring your own cooker, lights and chairs. Mosquitos come and go depending on weather or season. It is good to be prepared with coils/sprays just in case. Pets are welcome, but must be on a leash if they are a threat to wildlife. You can swim in the dam when full. Enjoy a meditation or sunset drink over looking the dam and admiring the wildlife that also use the watering hole. Please relax and enjoy your time at Groundswell. We are currently working on a network of trails inside of the 100 acres. There is a "TRAIL" sign at the start of the trail behind the orchard. The Spa at Groundswell is now open at the owners home. Our nearest beaches are just 5-10 minutes at the Yuraygir National Park Campground entrance and the beautiful quiet beach town of Brooms Head. You can find a number of public riverside spots to spend the day lazing on a sandy beach and enjoying beautiful swimming holes within a short 5-10 minute drive of the property Although we are always introducing new attractions to our property, it is always a comfortable place to stay and will likely always be different each time you come back to stay. Developments in the pipeline will be the addition of animals, an orchard, a dam and Aquaponics vegetable production which are currently in the works. We currently have 18 chickens and 10 Angus cattle on the property and fresh organic free range eggs can be purchased at request.
