Staying at Norm’s place was nothing short of magical. Set on a beautiful, rolling green hilltop, the farm offers a peaceful retreat with wide-open space perfect for setting up a swag or tent. The highlight? A bath overlooking the hills, with curious cows wandering up to the fence—absolute bliss! Norm and his family were incredibly warm and hospitable, making me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. The setup was incredibly thoughtful, with everything you could need—clean showers, toilets, access to power, water, and even a fridge. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating this special space. I felt so privileged to stay here and be part of such a serene and stunning environment. Thank you, Norm, for sharing your little slice of paradise with the world. I’ll definitely be back.

Nice and quiet. Birgit was very hospitable. Camped in Birgit' backyard and felt safe which was important to me even though I have my dog with me. Great spot to stay if passing through Moruya.

We loved our stay at Kangarutha Farm, we had the camp by the dam which was absolutely stunning! Felt like we were miles from everyone, tranquil and beautiful setting with a an awesome sunset. Tom was the perfect host, nothing was a bother. Facilities were immaculately maintained….would definitely recommend a stay :)

Lovely bit of property and close to Braidwood. Worth exploring around the campsites. The river was nice but swollen after the rain, I'd like to come back and try and fish again. Phil was very helpful too

5 nights at Sapphire Coast Dairy-Homestead

We absolutely loved this camp! The scenery is stunning, the facilities were wonderful, from the hot showers to the bath and fire pits and even the kitchen we can’t rate it more highly. Norm, narelle and Tom gave us An amazing farm tour and our kids saw cows being milked and a calf being born. We ate some of narelles delicious baking which was such a sweet surprise We used the 4x4 trails off the back of the property to explore fire trails that took us to heaps of near by towns and saw many shooting stars at night. This is a 10/10 camp.

Weekend Trip to Ingenia Holidays Merry Beach

Great welcome - friendly and helpful staff. Great site/position. Clean, clean, clean - site, amenities and general area. Music from the van behind us was a little loud but stopped dead on curfew time. Good mix of campers - very family orientated - we did not have children or dogs - but there was a great feel and a place for everyone. Amenities were clean and private - I was worried it would be a lot of queuing but it seemed to run smoothly on a busy weekend. Beach and sound of the waves was an excellent bonus. Highly recommend this site. Bring your food though - shops are a bit of a trek and very basic office stock - milk, long-life and snacks. Prawn van, donut van and ice cream van came on site - reasonable but not cheap.

Weekend Trip to Ingenia Holidays Bermagui

Fantastic campground with excellent amenities and terrific waterfront views. Powered site made charging the car overnight super simple, recommend a decent extension lead in case you’re not directly in front of the outlets. Loved seeing the sun set over the water and will definitely return for another stay.

Weekend Trip to Brooman, on the Clyde River

We loved the facilities provided by Trish at this private camp site. There was a misunderstanding with fellow campers and Trish expertly dealt with the situation and a very good resolution was swiftly reached. We are planning to return again next time.

2 nights at Kangarutha Farm

Camping at Kangarutha Farm was delightful! We tent camped in the Big Paddock Creek Camp and there was plenty of space for the three of us (two tents, two vehicles.) The facilities were clean and well-stocked, and having our bikes made the distance between our tents and them easy to cover! Our dog loved being able to explore the paddock and meet the friendly horses, and the bike trail into Tathra goes right past the farm making it really easy to cycle or walk into town. Tom was super friendly and has a very cute dog! We would definitely come back again!

2 nights at Scout's Run Private Creekside Camp

As a couple who had never tried glamping before, this was a great first experience! The caravan was full of amenities, super comfortable and easy access to the beautiful refreshing creek right in their backyard! Hipcamp was easy to find and enter as the instructions given by the host was very clear. Overall, a super happy experience here at Scouts Run.

4 nights at Meringo Beach Camp

Awesome sport, we loved it. Short walk to the beach and good facilities. Nice and spaced out (site 4 was perfect). Moruya shops are close if you need to pop in and grab provisions. Make sure to pack tick repellant - unfortunately we got covered in bites!

The site was stunning and spacious; the total antithesis to caravan park camping. The beach was amazing as well, particularly the rocks at the south end. Soooo many kangaroos! The only drawback was that it was a little bit expensive; it worked out to be about $70 per person per night (for 3 people). Would still recommend though.

I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. You can explore the property along the tracks, paddle, swim or fish in the river, enjoy the fauna, wildlife and birdlife. Located not far from Braidwood, a town steeped in history, with good shopping, coffee shops and great food. Sloping to flat land amongst the Scribbly Gum trees offering a number of sites and walks through the property. It provides both sun and shade. Access is good for vans of any size along a track through the bushland. Lovely swimming spots in the Mongalowe River, beautiful clear water, and several lovely bushwalks around the property. To the West there are hundreds of kilometres of Forestry and National Park roads through some of the most spectacular forested mountain country east of the Coastal Range. The Clyde River Berry Farm is just minutes down the road. Local fish and chips, great coffee and handmade bread is 25mins drive at Burrill Lake. Some of the best restaurants and bars on the coast are less than 40 minutes drive at Milton and Mollymook. If you are looking to relax and recharge in nature or explore amazing country, then Brooman is it.

376 hectare operating dairy farm next to Biamanga National Park with access via secret 4WD track to the mountain and 22km to Brogo Dam for bass fishing. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach. The property has eucalyptus forest, rainforest gullies, fresh mountain water and abundant wildlife include bellbirds and lyrebirds. The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views. in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). If you have queries regarding access check photos in gallery or please ask me. Flushing toilet on site. Dogs permitted. Good telephone and internet reception. Ideal for flying your new drone.

Our property was home to the former and well-loved businesses 'Kangarutha Nursery', and 'On the Perch Bird Park'. We have been busy re-imagining these spaces. We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower a short walk from the campsites. Our property is dog friendly for well behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.

Nerrigundah Tuross River Camping

Based near Mount Utopia, Nerrigundah, we fell in love with our little sanctuary in 2020. There are two families Dwayne, Michelle, Robbie and Sharon and their four boys Blake, Taeg, Cooper and Flynn. Campers at heart, we started spending nearly every second weekend in our campers and this lead to many a night discussing what else we could do to make this property a place for others to use. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come, currently there is a ablution block that is up near the old house site, we decided it was best to have the camp area closer to the river. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Our little piece of Utopia is still a work in progress but is picturesque as well as peaceful. Your furry family member is welcome to join you. We hope you enjoy our little Utopia.
