There are a variety of beautiful campsites suitable for self-contained guests who have their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. Please note, all toilet waste is strictly to be taken off the property. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away. The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We loved the camping experience at Somerville Park (Bendigo). The hosts were very friendly and the communication and information received prior to arrival was excellent. They even reached out to us during a lightning storm to check up on us, which my wife and I really appreciated.

We had a great time camping here. The communication with Bec was fantastic - very prompt and accomodating. The site was large and spaced well away from others. We were warned of some noise as the mines shift swap occurred but we didn’t notice it at all. Good distance away from the dam for having little ones with you but close enough to walk down to and enjoy! Thanks for a great stay Bec and Cheryl.

Top of the Hill is an excellent location. Spacious, private, and has lots to explore. Perfect for a couple of families to come stay, spread out, and enjoy sitting around a camp fire together. I highly recommend coming and staying on Chris’ property and hope to come back again in the future!

Weekend Trip to Gum Leaves

We had a fantastic stay at Tony's farm. Beautiful shady spot next to the river. Kids loved the pool and tennis court and feeding thr animals. Handy to town. Clean bathroom facilities. Great hosting. Best of all we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful camping experience! We were lucky to have the whole campsite all to ourselves — peaceful and relaxing. The place was clean and well-maintained. Despite the rainy weather, the beautiful river view and the overall experience made it all worth it. We didn’t mind the boats passing by — it actually added a nice touch to the scenery. The river was warm and perfect for swimming, and the kids had so much fun! Definitely a memorable trip and a spot we’d love to visit again.

Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Sites were very well spaced and easy access with car/van setup. Short drive into Bendigo for Water Refill and Rubbish Dump. Great views, plenty of birds and kangaroos. NB This site requires you level up if youre planning to setup near the fire pit. Slopes down. You can hear and see road traffic from this site (but it was not a bother at all)

Weekend Trip to Sandalwoods by the lagoon

We had a great experience being immersed in remote nature. The campsite was very private and secluded. It was so hot during our visit and the lagoon was dry. It would have been a lot better if the lagoon was full. But we enjoyed our stay. We picked some fresh oranges which is a bonus. The host was lovely, easy to communicate to and very friendly. Thank you for a genuine bush camping experience!
