Kiah Wilderness Camp

Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions. Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water. We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share! Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river. Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water. Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network. PLEASE NOTE: the property is currently listed for sale. We are happy to take forward bookings with this understanding and will contact all booked parties well in advance if we sell. Nerrigundah

Based near Mount Utopia, Nerrigundah, we fell in love with our little sanctuary in 2020. There are two families Dwayne, Michelle, Robbie and Sharon and their four boys Blake, Taeg, Cooper and Flynn. Campers at heart, we started spending nearly every second weekend in our campers and this lead to many a night discussing what else we could do to make this property a place for others to use. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come, currently there is a ablution block that is up near the old house site, we decided it was best to have the camp area closer to the river. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Our little piece of Utopia is still a work in progress but is picturesque as well as peaceful. Your furry family member is welcome to join you. We hope you enjoy our little Utopia.
