Clydie’s Knob

Clydie’s Knob is located in Wonboyn, 30 minutes south of Eden on the NSW South Coast. Situated on Wonboyn Lake, you’ll have direct access to fishing and swimming with the ability to launch a kayak or small boat. Larger boats can be launched in Wonboyn village which is a 5 minute drive from the campsite. The cleared grassy campsite is on 65 acres of bush land where you’ll find kangaroos, wallaby’s, wombats and plenty of birdsong. A fire pit is available for use when fire bans aren't in place. There is plenty of fallen timber on the ground which you are welcome to collect and use for the fire pit but strictly no falling of trees. Clydie’s Knob is surrounded by the Nadgee Nature Reserve which offers bushwalking, birdwatching and swimming in a pristine landscape. The beaches offer great diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing and picnic areas, all within 15 minutes of our campsite. A pit toilet is available at the site. Please note - This is not fancy! But it does provide privacy. Please ensure that you bring your own hygiene products and toilet paper as this will not be provided. Only toilet paper and paper towel is to be disposed of in the toilet, sanitary items must be placed in your bin. All rubbish is to be removed at the end of your stay and we ask that you leave the property as you found it. 4WD or AWD is recommended for access to the property.

There's plenty of interesting history and walks to explore close by. Wadbilliga National Park is a 985.3 km² national park that is located in high country spanning the Monaro and South Coast regions of south-eastern New South Wales, Australia. Easy parking for your RV overlooking the beautiful Wandella Valley. The camp area is grassed, level and great place to relax. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. You must have your own amenities. The campsite is 2WD accessible and has enough space for your caravan, campervan or camper trailer. Fresh fruit and free range eggs sometimes available so check with us to see what produce is available during your stay. No campfires or pets please.

Accommodation options consist of fully self contained cabins. 1 bedroom for two, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom's sleep up to five people. Also large powered and un-powered sites for campers, camp trailers etc. For out campers there is an amenities block with showers, toilets, communal fridge, washing machine and microwave is also included for shared use. Five minute drive to Merimbula, Pambula, and their magnificent beaches. Six minutes from magnificent 24 hour off leash beaches 20 minute drive to Bega, Tathra, Candelo, Eden, with over another 150 beaches within 1/2 hour drive.

We were travelling with friends - site #3 was perfect for 2 small campervans . Kim was very accommodating letting us have the 2 vehicles there. Very relaxed stay, so close to the beach across the road and just a few minutes from Bermagui - thank you !

Really enjoyed a couple of nights here. The hosts Betty and Collin were lovely and very welcoming. The road to Mystery Bay was nearby, but to be honest, we hardly noticed it, and at night it is rarely used.. I will come again. Thanks Betty and Collin!!

Easy to find, yes it's next to the main road into Mystery Bay, but I found it was generally a quiet road anyway (even on a busy weekend), so no major disturbance at night. Paddock is big, were only 2 other groups there when I was there so felt like we had some space. Next time I'd book campsite 10 as it had better views across to the southeastern land areas.

This is a fantastic camping spot, peaceful and serene. It is private with access to the river and lots of flat, grass covered places to setup camp. Amenities are also great with a clean toilet and fire pits. The hosts were great communicators who were fine for us to stay longer and enjoy the location on our last day. We will be back for sure.

A lovely neat spot to pull up for a few nights. Very easy to find and plenty of room to manoeuvre our caravan and set up. An easy walk down to a lovely beach and absolutely loved having Chester waiting outside for a pat. Host was very friendly and checked in on the first morning that we were there. On our list to come back to for sure.

Our stay Clydies knob was wonderful. The access to the river is great, and easy to launch our kayaks. The block has lovely bushland and a nice cleared area for camping with a number of firepits. It feels very secluded but not far from Wonboyn lake and Nadgee Nature reserve.

Ironbark is a beautiful secluded spot in the bush but still close to Bermagui and surrounding attractions. Ironbark’s facilities are fantastic: a brand new camp kitchen, composting toilet and hot outdoor shower. The lake and beach are within walking distance. Dog friendly and very quiet too.

Nice paddock with plenty of room and space and reasonably level sites. Each campsite has its bin and a few relocatable open fire pits to use but bring your own firwood. It's a short stroll or an even shorter drive to the beautiful Mystery Bay beach or there is the delightful historic village of Tilba close by too. It's a great spot to base yourself and explore. If you have any leftover Carrots or Greens, consider giving them to "Chester" the horse in the next paddock.

Just a 7 min stroll walk to the beach through the old bush trail, Historic Central Tilba 5 min drive, Bermagui 20 mins and Narooma township 8 mins.Easy access for all types of vehicles and our place suits any type of family-friendly, nature-loving camper, as long as you have your own toilet (no exceptions!) and own water. ☆ No amenities so campers will have to be self-contained with own toilet and leave no trace.☆ Pets considered on request, please enquire and advise breed and number of pets you'd like to bring before booking.☆☆please note, latest fire information-it is safe to visit the area. You can hear the ocean waves from your camp site. Only 4 private camp sites available - Keeping it private and serene. Located 4 kms south of Bermagui township. Camping on 6 acres of beautiful coastal land with direct access to pet friendly beach and lake with abundance birdlife/wetlands. There is potable water available and a picnic area at the lake with free kayak use. Bermagui has the famous blue pool, wharf and horse shoe bay beach which is patrolled during summer periods and suitable for young families. Plenty of fishing to be had whether it is from the break wall, a charter trip or bring your own boat. There are lovely cafes, shops and restaurants. The country club for those who like a game of golf, tennis or bowls and the iconic Bermagui pub are all located right in town. There is also Mimosa Winery, The Blue Wren Winery and Tilba Winery within a 10 - 15 minute drive. Our property is central to all what the Sapphire Coast offers with Narooma and Tilba only 15 -20 minutes drive North and Tathra a 35 minute gorgeous coastal drive South. All campers must be self sufficient. Bins and fire pits are available at each site. All rubbish is the responsibility of the campers. There is a recycle bin on site. There are four sites available all with their own private area. Pets are welcome and off leash is allowed. Just be mindful of other campers and their pets. Plenty of boat storage. Sorry no tents. Only fully self-contained RVs/ caravans or campers. Due to the gate entry only vans up to 20ft. 5 people per site max. We look forward to your visit.
