Welcome to SLEEPY HOLLOW MANOR ESTATE, A family farm Acting under the state government agricultural tourism reform allowing primary producers and livestock farms such as us on RU2 property to have visitors.
As part of this we have to follow some simple protocol! Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council which now monitor our movements closely and we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or Any Camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you.

Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. Friendly ducks, geese, fish, horses and an abundance of native wildlife live here. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area.
Sites are part of The Bush Clinic where we specialise in designing and making natural creams, soaps, teas, dodorants and other products as well as running regular Meditation courses and topics such as Energy, Frequency, Grounding and Advanced Organic Growth techniques for those wanting to join in are formally available during your stay.
We are new to HipCamp so have limited facilities at present, but they are in progress and we have loads of space per site, comfortable, and lots to offer for those wanting to reconnect with Nature. If you know what ley-lines are - this is the right place to visit ;-)
PS if you are towing a van or camper pls remember to engage 4wd at the front gravel gate (low range 2nd is best). This helps avoid chewing the road up...

We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch.
We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do.
We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate.
Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots.
We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience.
If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates.
Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase .
We have a no dog policy
No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off.
We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm.
We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first.
If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip.

Bindarah Downs offers easy access to our 4 acres and 3 levels of open and shaded, creek frontage. Only 15 mins from Rathdowney, close to Maroon Dam and several National Parks.
Each site accommodates one set-up; e.g. one caravan, one motorhome, one camper trailer etc. Please make a separate booking if you have multiple camping set-ups.
The creek offers campers cool waterholes to swim in on a hot day and picnic tables to enjoy your meals.

Our sunrise campground has 15 large sites, and Ironbark has 9 sites (for group bookings). The property is fully fenced, with spectacular views of Lost World and Lamington National Park.

Bimbi farm is a 40 hectare cattle farm in Tuntable Creek offering camping, a cottage and a villa. It is a very calm and beautiful place which includes natural and regenerated rain forest. Bimbi means 'bird' in the language of the Widjabul people of the Bundalung nation, the land on which our farm is situated.

We had a wonderful stay at Bindarah Downs! The creekside site was spacious, providing ample room for our group to relax and enjoy. The creek was flowing and added a beautiful touch to the surroundings, though it had receded since our last visit and wasn’t quite deep enough for swimming this time. Wonderful peaceful location by the water. I enjoyed many swims during the heat wave. Quite deep, may not be suitable for children. A wonderful variety of bird life. Libby is an excellent, very responsive host, who provided me with a much needed map of the area and other information, and also reached out when a storm was about to hit.

The rules list seems a bit much; but all are normal campground standards, wash&clean up after yourself etc.
FYI: site 7-8-9 are tent sites, so with my rooftop tent a bit on an angle, which isn’t too much of an issue.

We loved camping at Bindarah Downs. A beautiful spot that is well maintained with a creek close by. A few of the horses came right up to the fence which was a few meters from our camp site. If you are planning on staying here, be sure to bring a bag of carrots and a box of weet-bix which the host said the horses love to eat. Shayne was a wonderful host, very welcoming and shares a lot of information about the animals and surrounding area. Bindarah Downs is a new favourite camping spot for us and we will definitely be back!

This is a pretty quiet, well maintained gem on the farm, super peaceful with heaps of space. The lagoon is loaded with carp, and the whole site felt tidy and cared for. Host was fantastic, friendly, great directions, and super easy to find. Loved the relaxed vibe and will definitely be back again!
