Our 25 acre Hipcamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites . We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden & Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness & Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away. Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The two best sites for swimming are The River Bend and The Willows. We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time. We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking. We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water. Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site! We do have an area to launch your motor or paddle boat or jet ski We are on the banks of the magnificent Murray River and all our three sites are absolute river frontage with uninterrupted views up, down and across the Murray River. What an amazing place to rest and relax. The sites were huge with fire pits provided. Lots of shade and sun depending on your preference. All you can hear is the sound of the water and birds. There were lots of flies but even people in town had the same issue. I would highly recommend Willowood. I will be back.

Great camp site with lots of space and access to the Murray river. Site was clean and easy to access with a smaller trailer. Think a big caravan would struggle a bit to be honest. Dog friendly and lots of space for them to run! Besides the flies this campsite is great.

We loved our stay at Willowood! It was such a beautiful, peaceful property. The site was immaculate when we arrived and the built in fire pit was a bonus. My dogs loved swimming in the river and watching the cows. Our experience may have been an anomaly, as we didn’t see any reviews mention this, but the number of flies did impact the tranquility a little. We also came unprepared without any deterrents (rookie mistake for seasoned campers), so we’d recommend bringing some along to make the most of your stay. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to be back.

Stayed here over the Cup weekend for the second time. Six families, heaps of room and we LOVED it yet again. Right on the creek with the toilet a short walk. Ordered a trailer of firewood and was heaps for 3 nights. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

Beautiful spot, mostly peaceful even on a long weekend. Great campsite with ample room. Unfortunately for us it’s too expensive , kids over 13 pay full price which is a bit steep with teenagers in the family.

We had such a great time here! The place was super spacious and perfect for our big group. Loved having the creek nearby and the fireplace was awesome for hanging out in the evenings. The kids were absolutely obsessed with Jimmy the horse who came by every day. Loretta was a wonderful host and made everything easy for us. We stayed at Site 2, which was really nice and private. The only small thing was that the toilets were a bit of a walk. Everything else was perfect.Would 100% stay again.

Unfortunately I only got to stay one night and I did have the place to myself. Both camp sites are spacious and well maintained. Located close to town but with no noise whatsoever apart from the river and the birds. Michael is a great host, very accommodating and keen to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Mick's place is delightful. Tucked away with complete privacy but an easy walk into Mytleford. Surrounded by trees, the River Ovens runs along the edge of the site, with easy access on a shallow stoney bank. Clear water. Mick has thought of everything needed for an extra luxurious stay. Toilets, hot shower, lighting, seating and more. We can highly recommend this piece of paradise and will definitely return. Thank you Mick for your generosity and especially the additional help with sorting the mechanical issue on the car.
