There are endless amounts of native birds, kangaroos and wallabies to view and sometimes we see a local echidna or wombat. We provide a peaceful farm with loving animals who love human attention.

The Statham family moved to Rosnay in 1996 and began renovating the run down farm using organic and biodynamic methods. They planted the first vines in 1997, and olives in 1999, as well as thousands of native trees, all planted and grown without any chemicals.
The exclusive camping area is on the banks of a old farm dam in the middle of the olive grove. There are sheep and alpacas, and plenty of birds and kangaroos living there too.

River - the river is excellent for fun canoeing adventures. Entering the river is at your own risk.
Fishing - great fishing in the river. We love the Red Fin!

Windowrie Estate is a family-owned wine company based 15Km from Canowindra and 30 Km from Cowra. The property consists of 300 acres of vineyards and a working winery located on the western end of the farm.In wet weather, you'll need a 4WD to access the last 100m Access to paddocks is over some rocks so low clearance vehicles not recommended.Dog friendly. No amenities so campers need to have own toilet and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place.

Enjoy a picturesque scene on a quiet country road only 4 km from Canowindra.
It's a 5 minute drive to amenities including the local pool, shops, cafes and pubs.
We are less than an hour's drive to national parks, canoeing or kayaking on the Lachlan River, Wyangala dam for fishing, boating or skiing, hiking (Koorawatha Falls), 4W Driving (Mount Canobolas), and all of the Orange and Cowra wine region for tastings at the cellar doors.
Food, drink, the great outdoors and even live music entertainment, truly Canowindra has it all.
Our property proudly boasts the original miner's cottage circa 1860, which is one of the oldest original buildings in the area.
No amenities at the campsites currently. Campers must be 100% self contained and bring their own camping toilet and shower.
Pets welcome but must be kept under control, leashed, and tethered at all times.
Horses considered. Must bring own portable yard, feed, and water. Please message us for a chat.

Our property is a 200acre farm.
We have camp sites close to 2 dams.
The property has sheep, cattle, horses, chooks, dogs and fish in the dam.
Our guests can feel free to walk around the property where there are timbered and cleared areas and may fish in the big dam.
The camp site is up from the smaller dam that when full has a lovely array of bird life.
It's 15minutes from Harden and has a light amount of traffic, there is roads any which way around the outside of our property so if they want to go for a walk or ride on their bikes out in nature there is a lot of places/roads to do this on.

My dog and I camped by the dam. It was lovely. Very peaceful and the dam was a great place to cool off. Julia is wonderful. Makes sure you’re okay with the set up but leaves you to your privacy for your stay.

Fiona and John were lovely hosts and greeted us warmly on arrival. We have a large caravan and were a little nervous getting it through the gates, but by taking our time it was no problem at all.
The site itself is a bit hilly and not completely flat, so we did need to get the stabiliser legs out and level the van. Aside from that, it was very quiet with no light pollution, giving us an amazing view of the stars. There were plenty of kangaroos around, which the kids absolutely loved.
Overall, a really pleasant stay and a great spot to relax and enjoy nature.

Me and my partner stayed at the Campers Den sight, the views were simply breathtaking. The owner Graeme was so welcoming and took us on his zip line which was incredible, showing even more of the breathtaking land. It felt so private and secluded and was a short walk from the toilet. I definitely will come back, my favourite site so far!

Amazing place!! So peaceful on the little River and the icon old windmill creeking now and then.
Its a great place to stay and discover the area or just to sit and chill. Dogs loved it.

Despite our nerves that our Subaru forester with a heavy box trailer wouldn’t get up the mountain, we booked Campers Den in the hope that all would be fine, and thanks to some dry tracks we cruised up the mountain with ease.
We were in awe the moment we got to the top, the views at Revelstone mountain were perfection, the solitude and serenity we felt calmed our city souls to the core,
This spot is special, it’s private, thoughtfully designed for all kinds of camp set ups. We got to explore a few of the sites around the property and each had its own unique charm.
Campers Den, the edge of a mountain, overlooking the sunsets each night was incredible. We had what we are guessing was an eagle or two flying overhead each day.
There is a beautiful tree for some shade. Though not protected from wind like others have mentioned, our set up withstood some strong gusty nights, just make sure you peg everything down and we took our gazebo roof off too.
Our 7 and 4 year olds enjoyed running around, making noise without being told to be quiet, and the isolation meant we were all comfortable to fully unwind without feeling like we had to be respectfully quiet so as not to disturb others.
The dam was so close that we got to enjoy some swimming and splashing in the Christmas holiday crowds, but returning to camp was always the highlight.
Thanks to Graeme, a very kind and hospitable host, for an amazing experience, we will be back!

We loved the views! Walking the dogs amongst the rocks, looking out over the hills and valleys. Sitting outside the van in the evening as the sun set. A great spot, well worth visiting. We will go to Revelstone Mountain again

I love this place, been there a few times. A unique property with a mountain. There are many mountain camps and several further down the mountain. Some great tracks to explore. I did it in 4x4 but would be a really nice walk too. Flying fox will be operating by now.

Mary's property was perfect for a night to get away from the city. It was safe and very peaceful. The animals that came to say hello were a bonus eg: Horses, Goats, Peacock and Ducks. Sunset was also nice. The property was well maintained and the instructions how to get there were spot on. Would recommend this place.

Fiona and John were great and Travellers Rest was such a quiet and peaceful stay. We were met on arrival with such a friendly vib and nothing was too much trouble. Fiona's homemade relish and sauces were delicious and added to the whole experienced. We had a visit from the host's lovely pups... just delightful.
