Weekend Trip to Barachi by the Creek

Barachi by the creek is an absolutely magical place. Peaceful, secluded and surrounded by natural beauty while giving you everything you need for a trip away without all the mod cons. Pete and Tania are speedy and effective in communication and are awesome hosts. Cannot recommend this enough. You will not regret your decision to book. We had the most incredible night at Peter and Tania's cabin! The cabin was so decked out with everything we needed and the beds were comfier than the ones at home! The dog and the kids loved the creek, we hiked and explored the paddocks :) A big storm rolled in and we all watched the lighting from the porch and all slept so cozy with rain on the tin roof! Solar shower was perfect to give everyone a wash! Beautiful property and very private, we will most certainly come back again! Peter was so easy to communicate with and made sure we were all set. Great experience thanks so much 🙏🏼

We had a small group of families. Mix of sleepers in the house and campers. You get all the freedom and natural surroundings of bush camping with the simple pleasures that come with a full resourced home. The creek is divine. The breezes ideal flowing under the verandah. We will be back.

This was a great place to stay for our family, which included our dog who could roam around and was really happy. We loved the serenity, exploring the creek/surrounds and unplugging from technology - cards and Yahtzee are a must! The barbecue was great for cooking and I recommend doing a fire at night. The accommodation is as described and I would definitely recommend the buggy ride down/back for luggage. If you do want to go back to your car and do some exploring around Modenville, it is a fair walk (30-35 mins) from the shack so be aware of that if you have younger kids or are not that mobile you probably just want to hang out down at the shack. Only small negative was the shower was pretty basic. Peter and Tania were great as well, make sure you have a chat and ask any questions. Overall - highly recommended.

2 nights at Figtree Farm at Findon Creek

Five wonderful nights spent tucked away at Eagles Rest in Findon Creek. Nestled in lush green hillside, this thoughtfully designed, purpose built home provided a peaceful sanctuary. We enjoyed everything from outdoor showers to refreshing dips in swimming holes and relaxing evenings around the fire pit under a star spangled sky. The space allowed us to be completely at one with nature, being surrounded by an abundance of bird song. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we look forward to a return visit. Thank you to our hosts Andrzej & Jane for responding promptly to any small queries during our stay.

Beautiful location for a long weekend! Peaceful, quiet setting with 360 degree views of bushland & mountains. We stayed as 2 families with kids. Loved the setup of the cabin & veranda overlooking grassed area to set up a fire or play. Gorgeous creek on the property provided many hours of exploring for the kids.

We were upgraded from a cabin to a glamping tent and had such a wonderful time with the family. The pool and little water park is perfect for kids and everything was lovely and clean and well looked after. Amazing friendly staff and everything you needed. Will definitely be going back.

We stayed in the new cabin and it was perfect. Comfy bed, furnished and decorated beautifully. The little outhouse toilet was clean and located in a great position. The farm is in a good location and the animals are friendly. The sound of the running creek is extremely relaxing. We found good sized agates and common opal in the creek. We would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back again, hopefully soon. The hosts are super friendly and helpful.

I loved staying in the bunkhouse at The Ranch on Clarence. It's an amazing property with plenty of animals, breathtaking views, and plenty of places to walk on the property. Add to it that you are really close to Yates Crossings where you can 4wd, go for a swim, or even just go for a nice walk around. I would very highly recommend staying here.

2 nights at Lumeah By The Creek Near Waterfalls

This is the best dog friendly property l've yet to find. Dog towels, bowls and blanket provided. Dogs allowed off leash and such great swimming holes along the creek. Very peaceful at night. Cabin had everything l needed, very tastefully decorated. Highly recommend and hope to get back there again. Had a 2 night stay but could have easily stayed longer, unfortunately the real world was calling
