Located on the stunning Tumut River, where River Red gums are scattered though out the camp,offering shade, privacy, and comfort. Here you have clear Snowy River water at your doorstep. It's so fresh we drink it! Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level. You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking. We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking. This was our third stay here in 3 years and it still is our favourite camping spot. Wayne as always was a great host. It's so tranquil with the great grassy camp sites combined with the river the bird life the cattle the views of the surrounding area and maybe a trout or two make it just so relaxing. The new toilets were a added bonus. It's only a 10 minute drive Into town for supplies and entertainment. We will be back again next year. Rob

Easy access to a peaceful riverside grassed campsite with great views. Dog friendly! Close to Tumut for local produce. Franklin’s Butchers, Locals at Learmont and My Fruit and Veg are a must. Host Wayne a good operator. We will go back.

A beautiful place! Peaceful, serene camping right next to the river. Was lovely to wake up to cattle wandering close by in the morning. Wayne’s directions were great, and the added firewood was abundant! Pity my fire lighting skills are less than average. Would love to stay again sometime.

Wayne was very accommodating and good with communication. Sites are well mowed and maintained. We went for a weekend fishing trip and unfortunately the river was flowing too fast with release of water for us to fish at the site. Regardless the campground is perfect, lots of shade, 5 mins into Tumut and a great host!

I absolutely loved camping at Ingenia! Highly recommend this unpowered site for anyone with an off-grid setup — perfect if you’ve got your own power and water sorted. It’s heaps cheaper than any accommodation in Wagga too. I stayed for five days and really enjoyed it. Fellow campers were super friendly, and the whole place has a relaxed, peaceful vibe — great if you’re after some peace of mind. The toilets and shower areas were clean and tidy, and there was no issue with hot water even when I showered late in the evening. I even locked up my caravan and headed out for the day — did that every day during my stay here — and each evening I came back to find everything just as I’d left it. Safe as!

Just stayed for one night, but want an awesome property. I had the place to myself , but there were a number of site options for me. I took “The Ridge” as it gave the most amazing view. Craig and Liz were great hosts, getting me in the correct driveway, showing me the amenities, and taking me down the property to the sites. The Valley views were amazing and the stars at night were so clear. I was fortunate ate to have such a clear night. Check was fine as I used the amenities after I packed up, and Craig and Liz came to check if all was good. Amazing property and awesome hosts. Highly reccomend

Chose a nice little private spot down by the river away from the masses. Still close enough for the amenities but private enough to feel like we are the only ones there. Except for the kangaroos in the morning of course.
