Great overall campground. The area provided is lovely lush green grass and plenty of level parking for vehicles. The creek was a little bit smelly at times but not bad enough to want to leave. The camping area would benefit from some camping zones to make it clear to other campers the suitable areas to park. Still plenty of room with sites completely booked ( 3 sites ). Overall would recommend and look forward to staying again.

We just spent the most incredible weekend with friends at Mt Nellinda Campsites, and I honestly can’t rave about it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Joe, the host, whose hospitality went above and beyond. He greeted us with a big smile and some great tips on the best spots to set up camp – it’s clear he really cares about his guests having a great stay. The campsite was peaceful, spacious, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights for us was being surrounded by so much wildlife – it really made the whole experience feel magical and a bit surreal. The toilets were spotless too, which was nice. You can tell Joe takes real pride in keeping everything clean and comfortable – it definitely took the whole stay to the next level. Whether you're a seasoned camper or just dipping your toes into the outdoors, Mt Nellinda Campsites is the perfect escape. It’s clear a lot of love and care goes into this place, and it really shows. Can’t wait to come back!

We were the only campers on a very wet weekend which turned out to be beautiful! Bev was very welcoming and lovely, even moving us to another area of the site so we could have some shelter if the rain got heavier. The space was clean and nestled so close to Sydney for a quick last minute getaway. It’s like a secret oasis nested in the bush. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely 2 nights. The sites are very well maintained and Louise was very kind to help us plan our days. Would highly recommend if you're planning on visiting the area!

Louise welcomed us late at night and helped direct us to a spot that suited us, our toddler and dogs. The property was beautiful and we felt a lovely sense of community with other campers around the communal kitchen. Louise has really made a special little stay - highly recommend!!

Easy location to find clear instructions to enter the property, tidy grounds. Easy access found north or south on the freeway.

Woah what a great little gem this spot was. The name “Neverland” really comes alight as you follow the very clearly marked signage through the tree’s down to a cleared area by water and covered deck area. Everything was beautifully maintained with fire pits space for many. Nestled away it felt very private and safe. Only downfall ( and not for all) was no phone reception, as a solo female traveller this becomes a safety feature for me. But 10/10 would recommend!!

We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach, 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome, but please pick up after them. Free firewood - Help yourself to what you need. The logs will need to be split as required. An axe and a wheelbarrow are supplied and are stored, in the firewood storage shed. - Every site has a fire pit. Hot showers and clean, decent toilets. Good mobile signal for Telstra and Optus networks. Two Communal Fridges and a cold communal spa. There is lots of space for campers so you will have privacy whilst you enjoy your camping adventure. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. Good fishing. Pretty much everywhere you can wet a line. Prawns are best bait. If your dog is on the government list of restricted breeds or on the dangerous dog list please leave at home We have a gentle, well trained old German Shepherd who adores kids but after being bitten by another dog, now prefers to stay inside the house and not visit the camp sites. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people the check in time is between midday and sunset. Do not arrive after sunset. The reason being if you are a large group turning up late, you will ruin the camping experience of other campers who got there earlier to watch the sunset and just chill. Furthermore, the sunsets are one of the reasons people come here. Every single day it is totally different. If you arrive late you have missed it.... 5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a slope. We do have several flat areas for tents , hybrids, camper vans and small caravans. And we have 6 levelling blocks scattered across the sites. Dead flat is a concrete slab at any caravan park anywhere but here.

There are some great areas for hiking, bike riding, bird watching and more. Set on the western foreshore of Lake Macquarie, which has the bush in its backyard. Find a patch of shade for a picnic in Lake Macquarie State Conservation Area where you can spot kangaroos and other wildlife. The saltwater lake is a haven for sea turtles and dolphins and you might see sea eagles and kookaburras, too. Fern Gully is just 1.5 hours drive from Sydney! We look forward to meeting you.

The land comprises fertile river flats surrounded by the Williams River. The higher land comprises mainly forested areas with some sites offering good views over the countryside. There are several campsites to choose from including some situated on the banks of the Williams River. Your choice and subject to weather conditions. Allowing only four sites to be occupied ensures privacy for our guests, Horseshoe camp is only 10 minutes drive, (7km) from Dungog township. Please note, our river sites may not always be available-subject to flooding or boggy access track. Dogs welcome but kept on a lead during the evening. No leeches and No ticks in this area. NO close neighbors. Perfect spot to pitch your tent or set up your camper in the valley. Lots of sunshine and lots of shade. Easy dirt road access (5km) Some sites require/recommend 4WD -some 2WD is fine. Check each site separately. Wombat, Rocky, Lyrebird and Goanna sites have bush toilets, shower bag and washing water onsite. Wombat, Rocky, Goanna, Possum, Tree, Bellbird sites are all 2 WD. Come and take advantage of the Wollombi Valley's beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Sit and relax or get adventurous and explore the area. The historic village of Wollombi is only 25 minutes away, and has cafes, shop, museum and the Wollombi Tavern. The popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 25-40 minute drive away in the opposite direction. Yengo National Park has some wonderful look out spots-great to drive to Finchley lookout to watch the sun set or check out Aboriginal art sites. No guarantee but...You may see wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goanna's, kookaburras, bower birds, lyre birds,superb blue wren, gang gangs, black cockatoos and so many other native birds/creatures. Stunning rock features, caves, diverse ecosystems with abundant native fauna and flora. We are situated in a valley. Each of our separate camp sites are your own private space.
