The pretty country town of Wauchope is only a 12 minute drive and is home to Timbertown, a theme park boasting steam train rides and a glimpse of the timber getting industry of a bygone era. Drop into the Vibe Coffee House, pick up "the best" coffee and a sensational meal before perusing the many treasures of Wauchope's specialty shops. Meredith was the absolute best host, so warm and welcoming, and she made us feel right at home. The place was amazing, with great facilities and views that were just wow. The communal campfire was such a nice touch, we ended up making a few new friends around it, which was a lovely surprise. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Such a beautiful spot, we had an absolute ball. Beautiful river, the camp was very well maintained and the host was lovely and helpful. We even had a visit from some cows. Highly recommend 👌

Wake up and see the cows! Go to bed looking at mind blowing sunsets.

We had a great stay at this campsite and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Meredith was an amazing person—she's truly one of the best hosts we've ever had. The atmosphere was so laid back and chill, exactly what we needed. The site itself is a truly peaceful place to stay with great views all around. We also loved the company of the two little dogs; they are so funny and friendly! We were pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do nearby, too. This spot is a perfect base for exploring, with some surprisingly good places around to experience, including the beautiful Eastern beaches, lush woods, and stunning falls. If you're looking for a relaxing, high-quality, and friendly camping trip, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!
