The photos don't do this place justice. It's absolutely beautiful on the river. Our two kelpies had an amazing time swimming and playing. The horses came up into our campsite and tried to steal our bread rolls which was hilarious. Ian and Bobbi were lovely and the complimentary brownies and firewood were much appreciated. We will be back.

Middle Ridge had a great outlook. There was plenty of space for our two vans and completely private . The amenities being only 400m away was a great bonus. The visit from the cows each morning was also great.

Anchorage Park is a beautifully maintained camp with sites right on the Kalang River. Perfectly positioned for stunning views and sunset is particularly scenic. When we had campers on both sides of us we did feel hemmed in though and wished the sites were bigger. We appreciated being able to fill up our water tanks before we left.

5 stars – A peaceful farm stay with the kindest host! Staying at Sharon’s farm was such a wonderful experience! Sharon herself was absolutely lovely—so friendly, welcoming, and full of great information about all the animals on the property. You can tell how much she cares for them, and it made the whole stay feel really special. The facilities were great—the toilets were very clean, which is always a plus when camping. One of the highlights was having breakfast by the pond on the wharf; it’s such a peaceful, beautiful spot to start the day. There’s so much space on the property, so even with others around, it never felt crowded. And the animals… just beautiful. It was such a treat to be around them in such a relaxed, natural setting. Highly recommend this stay if you're looking to unplug and enjoy some genuine farm hospitality!

Choose to stay at one of our powered or unpowered caravan and camping sites, with our waterfront sites large enough to accommodate all types of camper trailers, caravans and motor homes. As a Pet friendly park, you can bring along your additional family member on holidays with you, subject to the conditions of our Pet Policy. For the convenience of our guests, our Family Orientated Amenities block features 10 suites with hair dryers disabled shower, baby room, men’s room, guest laundry and a filtered water bottle station. Pristine beaches are 20 minutes away, mountains and four-wheel drive tracks are a quick 20 minutes the other way. From here it's 15 minutes to Bellingen, 25 minutes to the famous Pub With No Beer and 5 minutes to the historic "verandah posts" town of Bowraville. Here you will find beautiful bird watching, animals and wildlife. Park your car or set up your caravan next to the river where you will wake up to amazing views. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, breathe in the fresh clean air, try a spot of fishing or sit back and enjoy some bird watching. Warm your feet by the campfire in the evenings. We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, a picnic table and rubbish facilities. We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite and the river but 2WDs are ok. Your pet is welcome to camp with you.

If you want to avoid the crowds our property is only 10 minutes drive to great local surf and fishing beaches at Crescent Head. There is an abundance of bird life, the odd kangaroos and wallabies, and other wildlife. There is a melaleuca forest that children are welcome to play in and build a cubby house, and 2 pretty little dams to catch yabbies, and for dogs to enjoy a swim. The property where camping is provided is approx 20 acres with a limit of 10 groups so you can find your own little piece of paradise. There is plenty of fire wood for you to collect on the property on your way in. Please help yourself to any fallen timber for firewood but please do not cut any standing trees down. When checking out, ensure you properly extinguish fires and return any unused firewood to the bush. Dogs are welcome to be here off leash as long as they are well socialised and reasonably obedient. There is large areas for them to run freely and dams to swim in. It is accessible via a 2WD dirt road, even with a little wet weather. If rainfall is extreme we recommend 4wd's. The property is completely off grid so we have a 'leave it as you found it' approach. This means you will need a camp toilet, and to take all of your rubbish with you. We are a rural property so do not have rubbish collection services. (Fees apply for any left behind rubbish). Happy camping!
