A scenic drive following the Murrumbidgee and Tumut Rivers can be taken as an alternative route to Tumut or Gundagai. The site can be used as a base camp for fishing, wineries, bushwalking, and ski fields.

Around 200 handraised and tame animals and 200 birds.
We are the largest and oldest Miniature Goat Stud in NSW.....all year round we have baby goats, turkeys, horses, cows, sheep...all hand raised and friendly. We often have babies on bottles and goats to milk and generally, the farm is a wonderful place to be for those who love animals.
The State Forest that surrounds our farm is a wonderful experience for bushwalking and the views are outstanding with spectacular sunrises and sunsets to admire. There are endless amounts of native birds, kangaroos and wallabies to view and sometimes we see a local echidna or wombat. We provide a peaceful farm with loving animals who love human attention.

Fishing - great fishing in the river. We love the Red Fin!

You do have to drive through inglebah reserve to get to the property which is hidden away .

Please adhere to the local fire ban dates and do not start fires near grass areas when wind is increased. Also we have a nice big dirt area area the camp ground so get the kiddies to round up a few rocks to create a fire pit and there is an abundance of fire wood.
Always be cautious of lighting a camp fire not to close to fuel and or your vehicles or tent, the wind may change through the night.

- We only have 6 dams on the property with plenty of YABBIES if you grab some yabbies please throw in some pieces of meat and or frozen veggies to help them grow for the next time you visit.
- There are a lot of Native wallabies on our property and many hares with in the bush land

We have camp sites close to 2 dams.
The property has sheep, cattle, horses, chooks, dogs and fish in the dam.
Our guests can feel free to walk around the property where there are timbered and cleared areas and may fish in the big dam.
The camp site is up from the smaller dam that when full has a lovely array of bird life.
It's 15minutes from Harden and has a light amount of traffic, there is roads any which way around the outside of our property so if they want to go for a walk or ride on their bikes out in nature there is a lot of places/roads to do this on.

Turn LEFT off Hume Highway into Adelong Creek Rd if you are driving from the South OR turn Right across freeway if you are driving from Gundagai
Iconic Gundagai village is only 8 km away. Water sports, hiking, horse riding and skiing are all available in the nearby area. Also only 45 minutes from Wagga Wagga.
Pets are welcome but must be contained to protect nature and wildlife. Campfires are permitted but you must have your own fire pit.

A lot of amazing native landscapes and some open areas. Great for trail riding, bush walking or mountain bike as there are gentle slopes through the bush.
Grass trees are plentiful in the rear of the property and there are two eagles that live near the back of the block also.
You do have to drive through inglebah reserve to get to the property which is hidden away .
Only 7 mins to town which has all the outlets you need
We also have 4g on the property for Optus users in most locations
FIRE RESTRICTIONS
Please adhere to the local fire ban dates and do not start fires near grass areas when wind is increased. Also we have a nice big dirt area area the camp ground so get the kiddies to round up a few rocks to create a fire pit and there is an abundance of fire wood.
Always be cautious of lighting a camp fire not to close to fuel and or your vehicles or tent, the wind may change through the night.
- We will have an ENVIRO TANK installed mid year for a drop point sewer
- We only have 6 dams on the property with plenty of YABBIES if you grab some yabbies please throw in some pieces of meat and or frozen veggies to help them grow for the next time you visit.
- There are a lot of Native wallabies on our property and many hares with in the bush land

- PICK UP ALL YOUR RUBBISH WHEN YOU LEAVE AND PUT IT IN BINS PROVIDED IN TOWN (5 MINS AWAY) there are piles of old rubbish in farm that we are cleaning up on a monthly basis which was left there from previous owners. Please treat the farm like it is your home.

The Bectric Hall was built in 1904 and has since been lovingly restored. We are now offering camping on the reserve surrounding this historic hall. The reserve is located in a true bush setting. A large open field can be used for camping or there is a gravelled area if you wish to be closer to the Hall. Please note guests will not have access to inside the hall.There is a community undercover BBQ area that can be utilised by campers, together with Tennis Courts (bring your own balls & racquet). There are no toilet or shower facilities here, campers will need to be self sufficient and leave no trace. We really enjoyed our stay at River Bend. It is quiet and private, but also with quick easy trip to town if extra supplies are needed. Access to the sites was easy. Bill is a great host and great with communication. The sites are flat with good shade. Steepish slope down to river but we had no troubles accessing to throw in a line. We arrived to piles of firewood ready for us which was a great touch. Lots of space for the kids to play cricket and kick footy. The river was low, so not great for swimming at the time of our visit, but the kids (aged between 8-14) still had lots of fun playing under the trees along the riverbank. The sites are well spaced, certainly within view of each other but we did not notice any noise from the others. We’ll be back, thanks Bill!

Wow, wow, wow...This Hipcamp was amazing, it was our last night of our 3 weeks travels in a campervan hubby, doggy & me the Mrs. Our experience at this Property was perfect, weather was mint River although a bit cloudy from the storm the night before we still floated down on body board and water temp 👌loved roaming cows that were very well behaved watching and listening to the birdlife was beautiful. To top it off we had a fire at the fire pit provided. Wayne came down to introduce himself with his furry friends great guy. I would highly recommend this Hipcamp, can arrive with caravan, tent campervan caters for all no showers but a couple of drop toilets. Thank you Wayne will definatley be back.

We enjoyed our camp at Bahwidgee. Great campsites with good grassy areas right on the river. My grandson caught a trout, we saw Murray crayfish and Platypus and heard a Barking Owl calling. Wayne is a great host and called in to make sure everything was ok. We will be back there regularly I hope!

I have stayed here several times with no issues. The location is very safe and not too far away from Wagga CBD. All sites are on sloping ground, make sure you have the equipment to level you camper. A great place to watch the stars at night!
