We are 1.2 km from the township along the River Road. There are powered and unpowered sites for caravans and campers set in a rustic location. Amenities include hot showers, laundry, on-site kiosk and boat ramp (fee applicable). BBQ and covered picnic area. Dogs are welcome on leash. Firewood is available for purchase on-site.

Built on the site of the old Hartley Vale oil shale works that closed in 1916, 'The Refinery" was re-established in 2018 as an organic garlic farm now owned by James and Michelle and their two children. The farm features a hempcrete building named 'The Stinking Rose' used for drying and curing garlic that also acts as a big room for garlic feasts during planting (March, April and May each year). The building also houses toilet and shower facilities for guests when camping on site. On some evenings, the sky puts on a real show of golden sun rays with pink, purple and blue clouds while swallows flit across the garden beds catching moths. Our guests like to sit around their campfires watching the spectacular show while kids and dogs run around without the burden of leashes or noise of city traffic.

On the site you can have multiple tents/vans to fit your group up to 8 people. Our property is just 30mins from Windsor, in the beautiful Hawkesbury Region. You'll arrive via 2.5km of winding dirt road, suitable for 2wd, subject to potholes after heavy rain. The road may not be suitable for larger vans due to a few tight corners. Camping Rules: Do not light a fire without approval from owners. Approval for a fire is dependent on weather, conditions, and restrictions. Fires must be kept small. No chainsaws or generators. A wonderful farm stay property, a walk away into Robertson or a very short drive. @watershedrobertson The space The property offers open plan living and everything you need is supplied for a great stay away including toiletries, cuddly robes in winter and pantry supplies - plus milk bread butter etc. Open living and kitchen areas downstairs. Bathroom also downstairs. And then upstairs to a funky sleeping loft space. Here there is a king bed and 2 singles. Great for late night chats! There is also an additional pull out single bed up here. Huge doors and windows allow light and a good view out across the garden. There are linen curtains in the living area to allow full view or total privacy. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the property and the gardens. Other things to note There is a wood burning stove with unlimited wood/firelighters etc supplied. There are also electric panel heaters and a split system. But if we know roughly what time you’re due to arrive we’ll have the place toasty for you in winter. Minimum Stay info… We have a minimum 2 night booking policy which is strict at weekends. 1 night bookings may be considered if tagged on to the end of another booking. This would be at a premium base rate of $500. Please message to enquire. Also 3 night minimum for long weekends and 4 night minimum booking at Easter. Changes to existing bookings must be made at least 2 weeks before original proposed arrival date in order to give a fair amount of time to try resell. Lovely grassy farm on a 15 acre block. A quick 15 minute drive into Picton where you can find our local club and shops. Short drive to Nattai lookout overlooking Warragamba water catchment. Spectacular view. Also Thirlmere Lakes. Nearby Camden township restaurants, cafes, pool, bike track along Nepean River and more. We are located approximately 1 hour from Sydney airport so a day in the city is not out of the question. Shopping malls a short distance away. We have 4 horses, two dams, nice outlook, outside amenities. Camp alongside undercover carport or choose your spot. Clean tank water is available and picnic table can be provided. As we have horses, dogs must be on a leash. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit. 4wd recommended or suv with good clearance.

Innisfree, nr Blue Mountains

"Innisfree" is a rural property dedicated to permaculture principles and introspective meditation/nature time. We are in the Kurrajong region, located 75 km from Sydney, to the west of the Hawkesbury River on the lower slopes of the Blue Mountains. The region offers lots of great places to go bushwalking, mountain bike riding, canyoning and abseiling in the Blue Mountain and Wollemi National Parks or canoeing on the Hawkesbury or Grose River. Our camping offering is currently only available to those attending our courses. It is not available to the general public at this time. We invite course attendees to camp, check out the farm and connect with nature during your stay. The campsite has a flush toilet and hot shower. We allow campfires but they must only be lit in the designated areas.

NSW Ski Gardens

NSW Ski Gardens is situated on the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry. Every October - April is our peak time and its busy! Please be aware there is river noise during our busy times on weekends so may not suit those looking for tranquillity on weekends. During the week it's fine but weekends are busy and a bit noisy. We are 1.2 km from the township along the River Road. There are powered and unpowered sites for caravans and campers set in a rustic location. Amenities include hot showers, laundry, on-site kiosk and boat ramp (fee applicable). BBQ and covered picnic area. Dogs are welcome on leash. Firewood is available for purchase on-site.

Picturesque Semirural Parking

Overnight parking for caravan/RV with easy access. The property is based approx 35 kms from the Sydney CBD, 20 minutes from the M1 north. Set in a semi rural location, close to shops, medical centre(s) and other services. Quiet location, overlooking bush canopy. Suit couples travelling that need a safe, quiet overnight stay on route to their next destination. Two Woolworths, two Aldi’s and local shops within 5-10 minutes drive at Galston, Glenorie and Dural Round Corner. Access to water and power can be arranged at a small charge but must have and use own toilet. Parking can be on driveway at front or if prefer, in dry weather, on flat, former tennis court at the rear of the property, overlooking the bush.
