We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Lithgow tourism centre has plenty of information and activities to do. There are scenic lookouts, climbing, canyoning, bike trails or simply relax with great eateries and historical sites. Cooking fires are permitted when there are no RFS bans in place. Note: there is no water on the property so you will need to allow enough to ensure you have completely extinguished your fire before you depart. You may collect water from the creek. It is ok to collect fallen kindling, no chain sawing of trees. Wood is provided free of charge for small fires only. If you use the kindling please play if forward and collect for the next person. If you need more wood simply message me. There is a camping toilet with toilet paper and hand sanitizer supplied. Well behaved pets are welcome and we encourage you to keep your dog on a lead if they are likely to adventure too far from your site and disturb the local wildlife or other campers. A peaceful farmstay located in Kurrajong Heights, set on 85 acres, just a short 75-minute drive from the Sydney CBD. We have 8 standalone cabins, each accommodating a maximum of 5 guests. Every cabin features a cozy slow combustion wood heater and a kitchenette equipped with a stovetop and microwave oven. Additionally, we offer an 18-meter solar-heated pool and a tennis court with rackets and balls provided. As a guest overnighting at Madisons, you are invited to join us at 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM for alpaca feeding.

Weekend Trip to Canoelands Orchard Camping

We had the best stay. Loved picking and eating nectarines fresh off the trees, feeding the animals in the morning, the tractor ride, the play area for the kids and being able to enjoy our iced coffees. The only downside is how far the toilets are from the camp site, but even that was okay. Camp Site 8 was surrounded by other campsites, but the sites are all spacioius, so it didnt feel crowded. The hosts were absolutely lovely!

We stayed for an extended weekend. Such a beautiful property. Mike was really friendly and approachable. We had ours dogs, so set up camp in zone 1, which gave us great access to the creek. Kangaroos visit the property and there's plenty of wombat holes, we didn't see any though. Definitely worth a visit 😊

Such a convenient spot for some amazing walks and POi…. great little set up areas with toilets at each spot. Basic but all you need, perfect for my little van, had a fire, a bbq… great night Geoff was a hive of knowledge… if we went to all Gis paces of recommendation we would have had to stay there a month🤣😂😂

The location was excellent, only 1 hour out of Sydney, which meant all our friends spread out could meet up easily. We loved camping right next to the Peach trees overlooking the valley. The grass was soft and newly mowed for us on arrival as well as chopped wood for our fire. It was fun to pat the farm animal, Jaime came down when we arrived to welcome us and tell us all about the animals personalities and stories.

Lovely place, secluded at the edge of the town. Very peaceful and relaxing, I wish I had more time to stay an extra night and explore the area. Woke up to a family of kangaroos outside the van. Highly recommend it. Geoff is really friendly and helpful too, recommend loads to do in the area.
