We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd.
We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower in a central location a short walk from the campsites. We have a small campers amenities room with a basic kitchen (i.e. a sink, power, kettle, small fridge, microwave) and dining table and chairs, which is a place to do your dishes or shelter in rainy weather. There are also other outdoor pavilions in the central areas on the property.
Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track.
Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs.
Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.
Kangarutha also has a country style cottage (with a tennis court!) available for holiday rental - maybe for the parents or friends who are not so into camping! We also have recently launched a new venue 'The Nursery' at Kangarutha Farm, so consider holding your next event at Kangarutha! Contact us for details.

We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd.
We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower in a central location a short walk from the campsites. We have a small campers amenities room with a basic kitchen (i.e. a sink, power, kettle, small fridge, microwave) and dining table and chairs, which is a place to do your dishes or shelter in rainy weather. There are also other outdoor pavilions in the central areas on the property.
Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track.
Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs.
Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.
Kangarutha also has a country style cottage (with a tennis court!) available for holiday rental - maybe for the parents or friends who are not so into camping! We also have recently launched a new venue 'The Nursery' at Kangarutha Farm, so consider holding your next event at Kangarutha! Contact us for details.

Our first visit here and we’d love to return. Stayed in campsite 4 and had the grounds to ourselves. It was incredibly quiet with only the sounds of local birds, some sheep and the surf over the sand dunes. We walked the trail from Meringo to Bingie, had a swim and enjoyed the shade from the beautiful river red gums. Amenities are basic but shower is hot and clean and would much rather the quiet here than we crammed into the holiday parks nearby at Moruya or Tuross. Thanks Will and Kevin

This is a beautiful private site. Directions were clear and it was easy to get to with our camper trailer. Highly recommended for a private getaway and back to nature.

Another year, another glorious summer holiday at Tuross River Camping. This year we went for a hike down river and found some more beautiful swimming spots. We even saw a turtle! This place has it all — running water, flush toilets, hot showers (but honestly after a day swimming in the Tuross, who needs them?) and a brilliant sheltered camp kitchen. The roads were in good condition getting in and when the toilets needed resetting, Dwayne took our call (via Starlink thank you very much) and was super helpful. We love this place and we'll be back again next year. Also, a stop at Bodalla on the way home is always fun (pub lunch, the dairy and art gallery are great).

The campsite was absolutely stunning! I expected to arrive at a paddock and instead we were met by a beautifully maintained environment with multiple amenities and a gorgeous backdrop! Tom made the effort to come and find us to greet us with a map and he was quick to respond when I needed to adjust my booking via text.

Great spot - so close to Tathra.
Many options for the stay - camp in the bush, on a dam or in an open paddock. All locations have their highlights. Stay in a tent, a caravan or even a cabin.
People will love the access to a toilet and a shower and a camp kitchen.
Bins provided- so nice not to have to worry about the disposal of rubbish. Should be a must for all hipcamps.

Will's campsite is an open paddock and campsite 4 is next to a nice big shady tree close to the ammenities but also far enough away from other sites to feel private. The beach is a short walk away . The only downside for us was we had a couple of windy days and you are quite exposed. Easy access and communication. Thanks Will.

Fantastic camping spot! Tom’s communication was excellent from start to finish, and he was very hospitable and welcoming. The sites are large, private, and well spaced, making it very peaceful. Amenities are clean and well maintained, and the location is great. Beautiful property overall — highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.

Fantastic and beats crowded and noisy holiday parks hands down.
Space and more space was the best.
Views with peace and quiet.
Close to Bega and Tathra.
Also having a shower, flushing toilet and running potable water nearby at the farm stay made our five night camping experience so easy and enjoyable.
Thank you Tom & Lisa for hosting us at your property and we really hope we get back someday soon.

Lovely little holiday park! Kids loved the jumping pillow, park, pool,spa and scootering around! Nice and close to town if you need anything! Management were so lovely and friendly. The grass spots at the back of the park would be best (powered and unpowered), great shade and close to amenities. We will come back and pick one of those next time for sure!
