Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away. Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. The property is on the side of a hill, which provides spectacular valley views to the north. Our family live in the recently completed straw bale house on the property, which sits well below the camping sites. The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

We ask that you organise and confirm any animals coming to the farm prior to booking by message. The powered camp site can cater up to 50 people. $50.00 per person per night (except children under 10 years old). All persons under 18 years of age are to be supervised whilst on the farm. Alternatively, for people not wanting to camp out or those with caravans or RV’S we have a site in close proximity to a 20 x 9 mtr shed, powered with concrete slab. The powered shed site is $50.00 per person per night. Hunters Spread is approximately 3.5 hours from Melbourne. The farm is approximately 30 minutes drive to Beechworth, Bright and Lake Buffalo and about 50kms to Albury Wodonga. Wandi Farm is a small scale produce farm under development. It is set on 3 acres on the eastern (sunny) side of the beautiful Wandiligong Valley, just 5 minute drive from Bright. The property is on the side of a hill, which provides spectacular valley views to the north. Our family live in the recently completed straw bale house on the property, which sits well below the camping sites. The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

We ask that you organise and confirm any animals coming to the farm prior to booking by message. The powered camp site can cater up to 50 people. $50.00 per person per night (except children under 10 years old). All persons under 18 years of age are to be supervised whilst on the farm. Alternatively, for people not wanting to camp out or those with caravans or RV’S we have a site in close proximity to a 20 x 9 mtr shed, powered with concrete slab. The powered shed site is $50.00 per person per night. Hunters Spread is approximately 3.5 hours from Melbourne. The farm is approximately 30 minutes drive to Beechworth, Bright and Lake Buffalo and about 50kms to Albury Wodonga. Amazing place to stay, really private, sheltered with plenty of shade as well as sun. Right next to the river with a lovely big pebble beach area. Picnic table, hot shower and nice clean toilet, hammock, fire pit, some cooking facilities, deck chairs on the beach area, fresh lemons (seasonal). Both myself and my dog loved our stay here, it would also be good for larger groups but I loved having it all to myself.

Our family stayed the weekend and had a fantastic experience! We were warmly greeted by the friendly host and her lovely dog, which made us feel welcome straight away. The campsites were spacious and peaceful, with plenty of room to spread out! The creek was absolutely gorgeous- crystal clear and such a beautiful spot. Plenty of wildlife too! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic getaway. There’s also a glamping tent for anyone wanting more luxury. We can’t wait to return in warmer weather to truly take advantage of the stunning creek. The only area for improvement would be the toilet block which could do with a tidy and stock up, but this certainly didn’t change our experience overall and we’d definitely return!

Great to have such a quiet place to ourselves with lovely views. Also great to have access to power for our e-bikes a little lounge area to escape the heat and the flies that were around that day. This is one of the best camps I have stayed at! Michael has made such an effort to make the whole trip a success, from giving good directions, greeting you at arrival and showing you where to go. He also has a list of things to do in the area which was super helpful. The sites are green and private. I could even walk barefoot on the lawn which doesn’t happen often in Aus! The toilets and showers are super clean and bins are provided which again makes the stay easy. Easy river access and only a short walk from town. We will def be back
