One of the oldest original homesteads in the area, for nearly 150 years this gem has been in the family. We have shared it with many people over the years and would love to share it with you! These beloved woods are the remaining part of the once vast, St. Martin homestead-started in the late 1800s. Our family ties and our roots grow very deeply in these woods-we've been born and raised here and continue to strive to be good stewards of these lands. Pristine woods, trails, river access, and more! Located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, 60 minutes east of Portland, 25 minutes west of Hood River. A truly tranquil place to enjoy exclusively, or to use as a basecamp for the unlimited adventures possible in this scenic area. Welcome and enjoy!

An exclusive and private "BUST YOUR BUTT HIKE-IN" campsite that never disappoints!  From your staging parking spot, it's less than a 5min hike along the Little Wind River.  (There is one bridge crossing so people with animals please be aware- Some dogs cross just fine and some don't. The walking bridge is off the Little Wind River about 15ft and is about 30ft long, if the dog doesn't want to cross it, they can cross the creek.) Our family favorite for over 150 years can now be yours!  Hot Springs Meadow is a well-maintained grassy meadow at the junction of two legendary rivers, the Wind and Little Wind. The first campsite on the property and most accessible with plenty of flat space for large groups, RV's, or just a bunch of tents.  The ideal location allows easy access to rivers, fishing, swimming, and easy "in and out" to go visit the local sites.   *Be prepared/aware to see other residents, campers, hikers, and fisherfolk walk through the upper part of the campsite to access the trails and other parts of property. However, the site is so large you will hardly notice them if you don't camp right next to the trail.  There is no doubt, that this site will provide nothing less than a stellar outdoor experience on any level you roll!      *This campsite is awesome for large groups and is connected to the network of trails on the property that is a good adventure during your stay.  We recommend at least staying for two days to get the most out of this Hipcamp experience!  Park, Camp, Enjoy, and be safe and respectful to nature and yourselves! • Review summary

    Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

Kingfisher Flats offers a peaceful creekside camping experience with ample tent space right by the river. Many campers appreciated the tranquility and scenic beauty, but noted the lack of amenities like picnic tables and the challenging trek from the parking area to the site. While the site is advertised for up to 8 people, several visitors felt it was best suited for smaller groups due to space constraints. Overall, it's a popular spot for those looking for a serene escape, though be prepared for a bit of a workout getting there.
