Porta potty available starting mid April. The camp site is approximately 6 acres located in a quiet secluded forest area near highway 525. A fire pit with wood is provided on non-burn ban days. A flat grassy area is big enough to enjoy your recreation activity of choice. Bring your binoculars and check out all the different kinds of birds. Nearby wetlands provide lots of food for birds, bats, and dragonflies. Other wildlife you may see are deer, bunnies, owls, quail, butterflies, garter snakes, and raccoons. Lots of native flora can be identified with your plant identification app or book. The beach is about a mile away where you can hunt for sea glass and enjoy the waves or build yourself a shelter out of driftwood. Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries. We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimicum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock. Whidbey Island Christmas Tree Farm

We are a 20 acre tree farm in the making on beautiful Whidbey Island. The property is rough graded with lots of areas to explore. No water. Tons of fire wood to glean. Close to town for supplies but quiet and crazy stars at night. We have cleared two of the cedar groves on the south side, and they are perfect campsites. The sites are 75'-100' apart, more private than a state park, but close enough that a bigger group would feel close. Portable Toilet is on site 100' from the Big Cedar site. May through October Cedar Hallow- Our original campsite, sports a hammock, a picnic table, a fire pit, & good area for 2 tents, probably 6 people. The site has huge cedar trees all around so it's filtered sunlight most of the day, & warm in the summer! Big Cedar- Our bigger site. Equipped with a fire pit, a picnic table, hammock, and space for 3-4 tents, probably 12 people comfortably. There is a dirt road that circles the property, it's great for walks and animal viewing but can get muddy in the rain so be prepared. Parking is a gravel lot directly across the little dirt road from the sites. Unload at the site then move to parking as to not block the road. Trucks with campers can pull tight to a site but don't pull into a site please, obey standard fallen tree limb boundaries. The great wide open forest to the south allows for nice nature calls bathroom walks, go deep. Thanks

Green Acre Camp

1.5 acre plot located west of Port Townsend near Cape George and Discovery Trail. This forest meadow is a peaceful, private spot to rest and relax when you are not having adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Perfect for RVs, Camper Trailers, Vans, or tents of all types. The entire property is listed as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend. Plenty of flat space for tent camping, running well water, and RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower. Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable but recommend using a filter for any drinking water in case there is sediment from the well. RV power pedestal is just past the shed and there is space for vehicle parking or tent setup near the electricity. Property is shaped like a right triangle with Hastings Ave , a local 2-lane loop road that is 40mph, as the hypotenuse. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line. This corner makes the right angle of the triangle and the property line runs straight left until it connects back to Hastings Ave. Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and the power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and power/water connections are about 50 yards from Hastings and the driveway in the southwest corner. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the dirt road on the southeast corner of the land. Finally there is the “back field” where there is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field. In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population. Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

Campsites, both standard and partial hookup, are located next to the Keystone Ferry terminal. Four pull-through sites are located on the beachfront. Bring earplugs, because jets from the naval air station fly over the campground.
