Come to Steamboat Lake State Park to experience some of that local, outdoorsy Colorado flava! While others are waiting in lift lines (hey, Steamboat ski resort) you can be out exploring the wilderness on snowmobiles, cross country skis or snowshoes. No lines here! And Summertime? Well the area is a technicolor explosion of wildflowers, forest, and wildlife. Hike, bike or giddyup to explore the trails or sun yourself on Steamboat Lake's swimming beach. Wanna get in deep? There’s jetskiing and boating for that. Campgrounds and cabins are available year round, so plan on making more than a day of it! Trust us, you won’t wanna leave after just one day.
