Description

A stay at Piney Guard Station instantly transports guests to 1930s Colorado, when this postcard-worthy log cabin was built as a workstation for Forest Service Crews. Situated about an hour north of Vail in the White River National Forest, it can sleep up to four guests and offers the perfect base camp for high adventure. Summertime finds visitors hiking and mountain biking, while wintertime affords opportunities to snowshoe, cross-country ski, and snowmobile. In the fall, these are popular waterfowl-hunting grounds.
