Enney's Ranch is one of the few remaining grain and cattle operations on the Central Coast. We dry farm and malt barley, wheat and rye for local breweries and distilleries. We have a small herd of cattle and rotate them between the fallow fields. Our goal is to maintain the natural beauty of the ranch and share it with you.

Nestled under a majestic Valley Oak; this rustic, but civilized, canvas cabin, complete with running hot water, shower and bath allows for magnificent views in every direction. As you awake in the morning, the rising sun warms you as the songs of the Blue birds, Red wing blackbirds, Juncos and Dove gently fill the air. By mid-day, the 200 year old oak gives shade and perch to the Red tail hawk and young Bald Eagles, who keep watch over the open range. By sunset, the cattle graze to your west and shadows fall over the vineyards and open prairie. As the moon rises, one by one a chorus of frogs sings out; joined by a Great Horned Owl and coyotes in the distance. Furnished with a queen size bed and luxury bedding, the tent has ample room to stand and move around in. It is equipped with a propane space heater for chilly Paso nights (seasonal). We provide a fire-ring grill as well as a near by bath house(with hot water) and out house. Family owned, the Enney Ranch is an 850 acres cattle and grain ranch situated on a ridge over looking the "wine country" of Paso Robles. Sit back and enjoy the vast open space; the peace; the quiet serenity of the Salinas Valley back country. Hike the canyons and enjoy spring wildflowers or simply sit and watch the grain dance in the wind. Or, if you're looking for more cultured pursuits, wine tasting at one of the award winning Pleasant Valley Wine trail wineries is just minutes away. How Blue Bonnet Ridge came to be: Blue Bonnet ridge was a complete surprise to us as I had prepped this field to plant grain this year, the late rains conspired against me. After "wasting" hundreds of hours prepping to plant 400 acres of grain, I was only able to get 70 acres in the ground. Frustrated at having spent so much time and money and not being able to get my crop in the ground, I marveled one morning in late March as I realized that my work had helped Nature establish an epic 50 acre wildflower field. The field had not been plowed since the 1970s, so 40 years of Lupine seed have accumulated. The result; a 50 acre carpet of blue. We are grateful for this beautiful gift and look forward to sharing with our guests.

Beautiful property, welcoming hosts, glamping at its best. My daughter and I had a great stay and plan on returning. The bed was cozy. The tub was fun and relaxing. Nighttime is quiet and the sky is beautiful.

First off, Kenney and Sharon are lovely hosts! Great communication and so responsive. The site was perfect for a quick weekend de-stress getaway. No mosquitos, low amount of other bugs, and just ALL the amenities you could want! We enjoyed stargazing and downloaded an app Sharon recommended, saw the milky way for the first time! The tent and bed were cozy, the sink and tub were so convenient (never felt so clean while "camping") and the atmosphere was calming. We stopped by Tackitt winery for legitimately the BEST tasting experience ever -- and then enjoyed relaxing and cooking at the camp!
