Enney&#x27;s Ranch

We loved our time at Enney Ranch! The campsites are thoughtfully laid out. The large canvas tent is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The camp bed was comfortable, and the tent had side tables, chairs, camp lamps, and towels for the shower. The lanai type set up has an awesome instant water heater, and a giant thought tub that three people could fit in! We spent time during the hot days (we came in August) but drove to the coast daily to surf and paddle board. It’s an hour drive but a pleasant one. There are grocery stores including a Trader Joe’s relatively close. It was great to have a large basin sink, large picnic table, benches, chairs and a fire ring. They also provide propane, a camp stove, basic cooking supplies, and even coffee/ tea/ oatmeal. The setting is quiet, serene, and gorgeous. Kennedy and Sharon are excellent, welcoming hosts, checking in but otherwise it’s very private. REALLY GREAT EXPERIENCE!

This was such a fun and unique experience for our family! The kids loved the tent and sleeping on cots. The space was clean, with lots of amenities like a propane stove, cookware, an outdoor shower and toilet, and a fire pit. We loved the view and how quiet and peaceful the area was. It is a little out of the way, but Kenneth gave very careful directions, and we found our site with little problem. Would love to stay again!

Not just oak-ay… it was great!

Absolutely gorgeous camp! Kenny was a fantastic host (with some very fascinating stories about ancient grains), and the campsite and tent themselves were quite well maintained. We wished we’d known to bring a Duraflame log, because sitting by the campfire would have been a lovely way to cap off a lovely night. Kenny let us know the Perseid meteor shower was happening, and we dragged some chairs out to watch it but ended up just lying on top of the car (the oak tree is gorgeous but does impede the views of the sky). The shower is quite nice, and having running water was excellent. The cows didn’t bother us at all, either. We would definitely love to come back to stay (and see their adorable dog Bandit as well)!

I was incredibly sad to leave this place place, that's how much I enjoyed it. My partner and I came with our dog to enjoy the perseids meteor shower and it was absolutely amazing. The sky was full of stars and it feels private enough despite another site being about 200-250ft away. Kenney and his wife came by and gave us the lowdown and they seemed like lovely people. Their dog, Bandit, also stopped by to say hello twice. Everything you need for an excellent glamping experience was provided. It's true what the other reviews say, they really did think of everything. We were lucky enough to come at a time where the weather was perfect so getting out of the hot tub did not feel freezing cold towards sunset. I was pleasantly surprised at how hot the water actually got. I didn't expect to enjoy the hot tub as much as I did. I wanted to stay in it forever. I live in the Bay area so this was a perfect getaway to enjoy nature and decompress. I felt absolutely refreshed from this experience. I'm already looking forward to booking this place again.

We went to Enney's Ranch for a meteor shower and we were blown away by both the meteors and our stay. The host is very accommodating and had everything we needed to cook and clean. Including a two burner stove and toilet system with bathtub/shower. I believe our site was the most private. We plan on staying here again in the future.

Our two nights at Blue Bonnet Ridge were a true delight. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with helpful and detailed guidance provided every step of the way. It proved to be a fantastic environment for our family. Our 9-year-old loved the magic of the campfire and eagerly pitched in with camp chores. Each evening rewarded us with picturesque sunsets followed by brilliant, star-lit skies. A special mention must go to Bandit, the resident Border Collie, whose gentle and friendly spirit won all of our hearts. We look forward to making this a recurring destination and enthusiastically recommend it to fellow travelers.

Girls Glampout with Pups

We had such an epic girls glamp out weekend here! The views are amazing and the bath house was rad! Nothing like showering in front of cows on a prairie. The yurt was cozy and we had everything we needed. The hosts were attentive and brought my friend a toothbrush because she forgot hers. They let us borrow wine glasses and gave us an extra blanket. Their dogs were sweet and made friends with my dogs. This place was the perfect retreat after a day of wine tasting and exploring Paso Robles. It was super hot, but worth it. I want to come back in the spring!

Camping on the Range.

This was an awesome experience camping at the Enney Ranch. Our tent was awesome. It was fully stocked for us. It had a stove top with propane, pot and pans, coffee, coco, tea and Oatmeal. There were cups and utensils. We enjoyed the views and everything about the Ranch. Mr. Enney has several miles of serene hiking trails around his ranch. There is a 🛁 bathing situation and it's a reset all by itself. There is a sink to wash hands, the dishes or use the drinkakle water for cooking or camel packs. This was an excellent adventure and much needed reset. We travelled with our children and experienced the duralog fire under the Oak tree and the star. Simply but we will be back. Extremely worth the five hour drive and cost to stay. His animals are and were great as well. Thank you

Great location and great use of space. Love that you really don’t need to bring anything! Bed linens, full kitchen utensils + cookware, bbq grill, camping gas stove, and fire pit were all provided. Also super nice to have a sink with soap :) Kenney was extremely accommodating to our group, and we can’t wait to come back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay! The views are just gorgeous and it was so peaceful to just sit and take it in. The bed was very comfortable and Kenneth had prepared us in advance that it can get a little chilly at night so we brought a few extra blankets and were very warm. About 20 minutes away in San Miguel there is a little store called San Miguel Market and Deli that has great Mexican food; we also got the supplies for s’mores and made those at our campfire! We will definitely be back and are also recommending it to our friends!

Beautiful Scenery!

The fields of grains/barley/wild oats were beautifully golden at this time of the year. We're allowed to hike on the trails in Enney Ranch and got great views in return. The tent itself was as expected: it was furnished with a bed, a pair of nightstands, and lanterns. The toilet was one of those bucket/seat + waste bag systems. The shower had hot water and was pretty nice except when the wind was blowing (in which case it was cold since the shower area was not protected from the elements at all). Kenney provided bedding/towels and cookware/basic seasoning, all of which were very appreciated and helpful.

We loved our quick trip to Kenneth's land on our way up to camping at Big Sur. The hosts were super friendly and we greatly enjoyed our conversations with them. The tub had a gorgeous view of the night sky and we slept comfortably in the raised tent. If you have a dog, please keep them on leash as there have been snake sightings by the hosts so far in the summer

Second time staying at one of Enneys Ranch site. Perfect place to relax far away from city, traffic noise. All the necessary things needed for camping/glamping experience are provided. Bonfire pit, restroom, yurt with everything. Good communication, easy directions, any requests easily fulfilled. Will be staying again. 😀

Exceptional!

Beautiful property, great amenities and exceptional hosts. I stayed here alone for one night and it was a great experience. I love the set-up. This camp site has everything you could hope for - outdoor bath, sink, fire pit, and everything you need to cook. They even provide items for breakfast and coffee for the morning (you have to prepare it yourself). They are also very attentive when something is needed. Highly recommend. I would stay here again and can’t wait to go back. Top notch!
