Description

Stay at the Grand Canyon without the crowds … the “Grand Canyon” of Pennsylvania, that is. With less than 30 sites up for grabs, the campground here is pretty peaceful—plus, a few of the sites are even pet-friendly! If you’ve got wee ones, try to snag the campsites on the western end of the campground; they’re closer to the playground area.

Great place to take in the views on the east side of the Pine Creek Gorge.
Family and pet friendly.

Camped here last summer with a group of friends. Lots of kids running around, so if you're looking to avoid people this isn't the place to be. Hike down into the canyon was fun, but back up in the dark was pretty tough. Milky Way is extremely prominent during the New Moon as this is one of the darkest spots on the east coast.
