It is an old house with all the quirks and imperfections of an old house - but it's a great place to get away and enjoy peace and quiet.

We just concluded our stay at McKee Farmhouse and it was the best vacation we have ever had. The beautiful country side is only surpassed by the graciousness of our hosts, Carol and Von. Be prepared for much quiet and relaxation. Even though the farm is secluded it is also half an hour or so from many things to visit. Roscoe Village, Black Hand Gorge, the Friendly Meadows Amish market are just a few of the places guests can go to while away the days. If you go be prepared to be greeted by the world's friendliest cat, Squeaky. Or you may choose to spend hours just relaxing and taking in the view of rolling hills, the old barn, the cows migrating from one pasture to another, or catching a beautiful sunset up by the old corn cribs. Great time!

The beauty of the landscape was only exceeded by the graciousness of our hosts. The farm is secluded yet still within thirty minutes or so of sites like Roscoe Village, Black Hand Gorge, Friendly Meadows Amish Market, and others. Be prepared to be greeted by Squeaky, the world's friendliest cat. Enjoy the things to do in the surrounding area or just sit and relax and stare at the rolling hills, the cows migrating between pastures or watch the beautiful sunset from the old corn cribs. A great vacation for family or friends.
