Wow, Happy Camper is the one! My partner and I had the most amazing time at Happy Camper. ✨☀️🌈 Davida is the absolute sweetest, so kind, grounded and caring. We miss her already! ✨
Ok now about the Camper itself. Perfect size, AC was amazing, super comfortable and supportive bed and bedding. The bathroom was clean, toilet and shower are great. Hot water when needed, water pressure is fantastic. Always thankful for a microwave haha. There are also lots of little details throughout that make it even more special. I’ll let you discover them for yourselves. 🧡💜✨
The outside area: we loved that it had some green turf, multiple areas to lounge, big fire pit and wood provided which is going the extra mile. The soaking tubs are fantastic! Dipped in multiple times. It was nice after our hikes and walks, and Frisbee and yoga. An amazing additional bathroom if needed. The stars at night are beautiful and the land is so peaceful with the best welcoming energy. And also lots of great wild life. 💙🩷✨
The land: The farm is so well taken care of, everything is so beautiful, the friendly people that take care of and run the place make it even more special. The smells and the fresh air are just amazing.🤩 ✨😊
Make sure to stop by their shop right within walking distance to really enjoy the experience to the fullest. We can’t wait to go back. Leaving more grounded and happier than when we first arrived. Just book it have a blast. 💜🧡💙🩷☀️✌🏽🌈😋

My New Happy Place
Davida really has a great thing here, She has thought of everything. The camper was set up with all the things needed for a wonderful glamping experience. Running water, flushing toilet, hot shower, a stove, coffee maker, and the queen size bed provides restful night sleep, Relax outside enjoy Nature! Soak up the sun in the cowboy tubs. Thank You for having me for my birthday trip the extra thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. Come stay with Davida and family everyone is so nice and friendly I feel so blessed to have found you guys. It a trip worth taking

We had such a wonderful stay here for my boyfriend’s birthday! We chose the RV for a glamping getaway, and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable.
The host was incredibly responsive and answered any questions we had right away, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We also really appreciated the thoughtful complimentary items—they were neatly organized and made us feel so welcomed.
The location was perfect for exploring Palomar Mountain and enjoying the surrounding nature while still having a cozy place to come back to. It was also a great place to bring our furry family member, which made the trip even more special.
We couldn’t have asked for a better birthday getaway and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! 😊❤️

This was our second visit to the Happy Camper and we loved this spot just as much as the first time. Peace and quiet was what we were after and that's what we got. Lots of special perks were included such as spare toothbrushes in case you forgot one. Plenty of firewood for having a fire and access to ice. The bed was comfortable too. We would definetly stay here again. Davida was a wonderful host.

Great place to relax and unwind alone or with guest. My girlfriend and I enjoyed all the amenities the trailer had to offer, and everything work great. The cold water plunge tubs were a great addition and helped with the heat. The remainder of the facility was so cool to see and would recommend this place to anyone.

Our first Hip Camp experience and Davida’s Happy Camper was just perfect! The RV was clean, quiet and cozy. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. So many thoughtful amenities. The trailer was equipped with everything we needed and then some.
Plenty of firewood for our 4 night stay. We enjoyed our hikes exploring the property and refreshing soaks in the outdoor tubs in the afternoon.
Davida’s attention to detail and friendly, accommodating nature make her an exceptional host. She was delightful, as were her family and crew that we had the pleasure of interacting with during our stay. We are already planning our next visit.

Davida was a wonderful host. The campsite was quiet and cozy, perfect for stargazing. The trailer itself had everything we needed - just don't expect a full hotel room. The large outdoor area is covered in turf, which helps reduce dust. In addition to the toilet/shower in the trailer, the site has two bathrooms in an adjacent building, and I believe they are building an additional shower. One tip: use Google Maps to navigate to the property - Waze stops a few miles short.

Davida’s Happy Camper was my wife and I’s first Hip Camp experience and it was just perfect. The modern and cozy Jayco RV is just as described, the land is peaceful and inviting, and Davida is a sweet and thoughtful host! We loved the Apple Walnut bread and honey she gifted us. What a great touch! We only wish we stayed longer. But that’s why we plan to come back :)

Our stay at The Happy Camper was everything we had hoped for and more. The setup was thoughtful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable; the bed alone was one of the best we’ve ever slept on while camping. The entire space was spotless and clearly cared for with so much attention.
Davida, the owner, is truly something special. She was helpful, kind, and went well beyond expectations to make us feel welcome. You can tell she pours her heart into this HipCamp spot.
My 6-year-old absolutely loved it! She was over the moon with the outdoor family games Davida left for us to enjoy, such a fun and unexpected touch.
We can’t recommend The Happy Camper enough. A wonderful experience from start to finish, and we can’t wait to come back!

There's places I've stayed at because I love for different reasons. It could be the ambience, the views, the bed, the perks of being central in a certain city I love, etc. You will fall in love with this remote place, the little touches such as the quality snacks they provided us, the beautiful trailer, the readiness of the firepit and bbq, etc. I can say whole heartedly the reason that made this place great was the owners. They're good people with good souls. They were just the most hospitable hosts I've met from all the private rentals I've done ( and I've done a lot.) We appreciate you. Thank you for making it a pleasant stay from start to finish. We'll definitely be back just to visit.

The tubs were amazing, the bed was comfortable, the entire trailer was cozy, we loved the hiking trails nearby, and loooooved the provided firewood to make a fire at night :) the grounds smelled amazing too and we HIGHly recommend this place! We will for sure be back

We had the most amazing stay at The Happy Camper! Everything was absolutely perfect — the trailer was spotless and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and the campsite itself was so thoughtfully set up and cozy.
Our host, Davida, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She even greeted us with two joints, a homemade apple pie, and ice cream — such a fun and thoughtful touch! The property is gorgeous, and the cannabis plants are absolutely stunning to see up close.
Our dogs had the best time, too! They were welcomed with open arms and clearly loved every minute of the trip. It’s rare to find a place that feels so peaceful, well cared for, and genuinely welcoming to both people and pets.
Thank you, Davida, for creating such a special getaway. We can’t wait to come back! 🌿🍎🐾
